Sherby's Pub and Grill — Restaurant in Simpsonville

Great place to grab a beer and a bite to eat with friends or alone; the staff and patrons are a great bunch too! If you're a Simpsonville native, chances are you'll run into at least one or two people you know. Going into Sherby's by yourself for a drink alone isn't like the traditional "weird, lonely, sad, pitiful-looking" type of going alone. Its more like the "stopping in to catch up with old friends and meeting potential new friends while you're there" type of going alone. You're actually just arriving alone.

Their selection of cocktails, beers and other drinks is pretty well balanced; there's a bit of something for everybody's taste. You'll never go to Sherby's and not be satisfied with the sheer amount of drinks they offer plus the knowledge and friendliness of the staff. The food is hands down, the best bar food I've had in a long time; way better than I expected from a pub. There's lots to choose from and, although I haven't personally tasted every single thing on the menu, I've been told that almost all of it is tasty. Check it out. What do you have to lose? (besides your sobriety if you're a recovering alcoholic, or your dignity if you over indulged and found yourself doing damage control the following morning. That's a whole 'nother subject anyway...) 😴 🤔💭 😝 😳 🤫 😇 😂.

Seriously though, my friends and I enjoy the atmosphere - fond of the drinks, the menu, the staff and the other slightly buzzed patrons... myself, I've never been drunk.🤷‍♀ 🙃 😁 I've also a got an oceanside property for sale in Arizona...you can pay me in cash after I take you snipe hunting. 😉😂

Side note: Before I get a ton of hate mail about the lonely, pitiful-looking, sad people in bars, I'd like to clarify the statement/comparison/stereotype - not everyone who goes to a bar alone is weird, lonely, sad or pitiful-looking. A plethora of friendly, nice, happy people go alone. It was a compliment, meant to imply that Sherby's is lively and fun place to go where the crowd...

The BEST RIBS and NOW MY GO TO for the best BURGER 🍔

FOOD I was craving a burger and was FINALLY FOUND THE CHEESEBURGER IN PARADISE HERE. It was like summer and this was grilled to perfection I had/ cheese and the works on it The fries (AND THE ONION RINGS I PILFERED) were THE BEST I'VE HAD IN A WHILE! The report from the healthy front is the grilled chicken sandwich is that it was fantastic The sweet tea was delicious The bar was a feast for the eyes with everything one could imagine The menu is vast Thursday is RIB night and it's SOMETHING TO COME FOR - TRUST ME!!! They are fall off the bone finger licking good and the deal is unbeatable - the slaw was delicious too!

SERVICE While Jacob is the ALL TIME BEST in the world, everyone wraps their arms around me and makes me feel cared for and welcome

LOCATION Very easy to get to JUST a light off of 385 Fairview Exit, turn LEFT at Baskin Robbins then Take the 6th LEFT - if you get to Doctor's Care you've gone too far

PARKING There is plenty of parking

VALUEExcellent value as the portions were generous and the sweet tea kept flowing

ATMOSPHERE Fun and casual atmosphere with plenty of pool tables and a mile of bar 🍻 steins from around the world line the ceiling. You could bring your friends, team, or entire office and have a blast

I was at the Restaurant last night. I got there 2.5-3 hours before closing. I frequently choose Sherbys for Game night, however I will no longer. I arrived and noone greeted me, we walked in and stood at the door. Sat ourselves and waited for the waitress to come over maybe 10 mins. When she arrived she did not greet us as a happy waitress, she said what can I get you. We ordered a bucket of beer, she dropped it off and didnt say anything, she did not come back for over 20-30 mins after dropping off the bucket. It was still 2 hours before closing, I asked for a Menu and she laughed and said no we are not serving food. I said really your still open for 2 hours and she just walked away. Came back in 20 mins again and we got another bucket and ordered uber since we couldnt eat there. The food was 20 mins out at approx 850 2 guests arrived and were sent away from the door then the little male manager came over and said we are closed now its time to go. I was furious, from the horrible service, not being able to order at a bar 2 hours before closing and then being told to leave. THAT IS HORRIBLE SERVICE. I hope the owner sees this and brings on a new staff. I would spread this on social...
