Extremely rude/paranoid supervisor on duty.
I do a lot of food deliveries in town. Today I was sent to this location on an order. The supervisor wouldn't even let me see the food to make sure it was the right order unless I hit the buttons on my phone to confirm I had picked it up BEFORE she would let me have the order. This led to a back and forth with her about the store policy (one which apparently assumes I may be a thief.) I tried telling her I would be happy to hit the buttons once I knew I had the correct food, but I wasn't going to confirm I had picked up an order before I've actually picked it up. She let go of the bag, but kept a hand on the soda. I took the bag, and was trying to push the confirmation button on the order as I turned to walk away, but as I tried doing so she clutched down on the soda with both hands, pulling it away from me so hard the cup squeezed and soda spilled out all over my hand, leading me to shout at her. I almost unassigned the order and let it sit there for someone else to come pick up, but the customer would likely have received cold food. On the way out the door I told her to block me from receiving orders at that location.
Assuming that every delivery driver that walks in the door is going to steal food is how a restaurant ends up only having delivery drivers that will steal food accepting their orders. Read moreThe customer service was appalling. Extremely upset with how I was treated. I am a college student. A classmate and I were studying and we decided to go to BK to study, and eat. We wanted to study for a bit before eating as we were not that hungry. After about 15 minutes of sitting their an employee came up to us and told us we have to order something or leave in a very rude tone with attitude. I explained to her that we will but we are in the middle of something and will order in a little bit. After I told her that she didnt leave but she stood there and continued to stare me down and give me a horrible look. She stood there and told me to order or leave. It was always our intention to eat there. I have no issue with them asking us to eat. It was about her attitude and the way she talked to us. There was zero respect shown and was very condensending.
We did nothing but sit there for a few minutes and explained nicely that we will eat. I am a person of color and I have to think that it did play a part. There was nothing in our interaction to give a reason for the look and disrespect she gave us. I have never had any issues like this at any other place. When they messed up on the Order on 2nd ring up, I asked for the apple sauce that I paid for and tried to give back the French fries. The manager or shift lead refused to do so. Now if it were my mistake I would have paid for the apple sauce. Since it was their mistake I asked again that they correct it for my son. He doesn't do well with change. The manager refused to give me the apple sauce that I had ordered. My son refused to eat. Wasted money on his meal due to this.
