Mr. Stirfry — Restaurant in Sioux City

Please for your well being take extreme caution if you eat here! Place was filthy and in disrepair. Damaged tables, chairs, booths, decor, no water pressure in bathroom, lots of damage to many things including rust in bathroom. None of the food was hot, seen employee adding hot water to certain items to warm them up, if the food has been sitting there that long then it needs to be tossed or your hot pan setup needs to be adjusted/fixed. Didn't get as many pictures as I wanted. They definitely aren't using a sanitizer on tables/booths, most likely just water. I also seen a couple customers using their hands to pick through food items. Not sure how their calculating the cost per person but the value sure isn't there. Please take caution, take your own pictures and share your experience. I've noticed how so many people are automatically starting reviews of services/purchases/apps at 5 stars as if their assuming the services/purchases/apps are top notch before hand then only downgrading after so many issues, this gives the businesses the ability to provide less quality everything. I've had /have apps that even generate a popup where you can't change the star rating so is forces you to give them 5 stars. If we don't have higher standards/expectations from businesses then the service we receive will...

Im sorry but I had a very hard time eating the food here. It was cold and the stir fry was really bad. They have a stir fry cook who does not speak english so its was really difficult communicating with him. They do have a large selection of dishes. The drink is extra and i thought because of the food taste and temp that i would not ever return. I did enjoy the cut fruit, jello, and they had ok soup. Also they do not pick up any dirty plates while you sit there. None. I was very unimpressed with this establishment. I actually left and went to Huhot so I could get full. I dont like leaving a bad review but i do believe that this establishment could be really great....we need buffets in this area and with a bit of work they could [potentially be one of the best places to eat..i hope they take this review seriously. The stir fry would be much better with choices of sauces, i believe they had 1 or two, Either way i couldnt speak to the guy cooking very well so im dont even know which i got. Was a very large buffet and the cooks were able to keep the food from running low or even out completely. The waitress we had taking our plates and refilling out beverages did exceptional. Unfortunately I wasn't able to catch a name tag on her, but she was very conscious of all the individuals I had at my table and made sure that the teenagers, tween & toddler were all addressed as of they were "adults" and in turn was returned with polite and respectful attitudes. I feel it is important for adults to acknowledge children of all ages and treat them with the same respect they would an fellow adult. There was a good amount of people seated when we entered the restaurant, but were able to get through the line and were seated quickly, for a group of 6 it's understandable that sometimes it's hard to accommodate right away.
