Fuji Sushi Teriyaki — Restaurant in Sioux City

I’ve had sushi in places outside of Sioux City, but nothing can compare to Fuji Sushi. The food is an amazing quality, and I send close to everyone I know here. Their customer service is unparalleled; they remember their regular customers individually and make everyone feel welcome, even with such a crowded mall area as the backdrop they still have such a welcoming vibe. The owners and employees are not only amazing people who care about their customers, they also are unrivaled in terms of quality sushi. They also have other really amazing foods such as their avocado salad, their gyoza, spring rolls, etc., etc.. one thing to definitely get while there would be any of their bento boxes! They offer a variety that could appeal to anyone. They also have a two roll special that is very good when you want good quantity and quality of food on a smaller budget. Overall I like the food but don't get soup to go; their styrofoam soup takeaway containers don't seal shut so miso soup got all over my car. When I mentioned it the next time I came in, the counter worker just sort of stared at me and then said that is the only container they have for it. Management should buy the standard sealing plastic tubs that everyone else uses.

Edited to add two weeks later: The staff have been willing to put the soup in a protective plastic bag for me the last two times and also gave me an apology order of edamame after it became clear I was the reviewer who left the above comment. One of the things I missed most after moving back to Iowa after living in Denver for many years was a really good place to enjoy my favorite - Asian cuisine. Then I found Fuji Sushi, of all places in the mall. I'm with an earlier commenter -- would love to see the owners open a restaurant with seating, etc. of their own. But meanwhile, I will continue to visit their current location. Their sushi rolls rival the very best places in Denver. Their avocado salad is amazing.
