I was only in town for the day, saw a shirt online that was clearanced and available for buy online, pick up in store, however the pick up in store estimated availability time/date was after I'd be out of town. I decided to just go in to buy it. When I arrived the shirt in store was full price and I asked the employee about this saying " this is clearanced online so is this clearanced for that price in store?" She responded with the utmost attitude about it, "um no that shirt is full price" and she walked away before I could say another word. Walked out of the store and tried calling customer service, but it was taking forever. Decided to call the Omaha store and ask about their price match policy on clearance items online. They confirmed that as long as the SKU matches, they price adjust the item in store. So, I go back inside. I take the shirt to the register. The same girl comes over to me and asks if I'm ready, I can tell she has attitude, but I have no idea why. I tell her I called another store who told me that price matches can be done with clearance items online. She says "if it's the same shirt then I can" so I prove to her that it's the same exact shirt and SKU matches, she doesn't apologize for anything, she just asks me cash or card and finishes the transaction. I've worked in CS and retail for a long time myself and whoever this was, girl, you are not paid enough to care that much about price matching. Just make the customer happy within policy.
