This was our first visit- I usually like to wait a little while after a place opens to let them get things worked out. We ordered the 3 rib plate, glazed wings, the brisket sandwich with sidewinder fries, potato salad (wow!) and grits. We also had coleslaw. We went on a cool Sunday and the heaters were going which was super nice. Much to my boyfriend’s chagrin, I’m a fussy one when it comes to eating out. Here, food was pretty darn good! The ribs were perfect, served hot and saucy, and very tender. The brisket sandwich was also very good. I was skeptical on this one because I’ve had more dry chopped brisket sandwiches in my life then I can shake a stick at. This one was very good. Even the bread used for the sandwich was excellent. Great sauceability and the tender brisket bites were 🤌🏼. The sliced onion and pickles on the side made it. I don’t know if there’s an option for pickled red onions, but if there is, it would make an excellent addition. The glazed wings were also really good. I’m not much of a bone in wing guy, but I tried one and I was very pleasantly surprised all-around. The wings and flats were all nicely sized and served hot. Really tasty. Let’s talk sides. Everybody knows this is where the meat and potatoes (pun intended) are and can make or break a joint. Coleslaw – perfect Potato salad, excellent balance of all the ingredients, perfectly cooked potatoes, even better this morning out of the fridge for breakfast. Grits- these were good, but they were lacking something that could’ve taken them from good , to really really superb. Maybe just a little bit more salt. But they were also great for breakfast this morning. We also had a couple of cocktails and they were pretty good. Well-made. I do wish they had a larger bourbon selection at the bar, but that’s just me. They have a lot of beer on tap and during an event or game day, this is the place to be. The bartenders were very friendly and did a great job. I would definitely go back and I would send a friend if they asked.

Man I want to love this place bad. Amazing scenery and "vibe" great service..... An embarrassment of the term barbeque. It was quiet obvious that whomever was cooking, knows nothing about brisket. We ordered the brisket plate for $19. What I was served was.... The fat cap of a brisket that wasnt trimmed at all and questionable if it was even smoked/barbequed? Come to think of it, I didn't smell any smoke while we were there. WAS THIS BRISKET OVENED? OR WORSE YET BOILED? There were maybe 3 small bites of anything resembling meat/brisket. Very very disappointed. My 2 star rating is generous, and only achieved the second star due to the amazing scenery and pretty darn good service, and the sides were very good, however the abomination that was the meat trying to pass as BBQ brisket brought the rating into negative territory. I will try this place again.... After I make myself a proper brisket to remind myself what could have, and should have been.

The sliders are my favorite but make sure you leave room for the fried Oreos with the strawberry dipping sauce! Yum! And the setting is incredible! Very relaxing and sometimes live music!
