My husband and I moved here this year and with Taco Bell being one of his favorites, we’ve tried this location a few times now. My order has been fairly ok each time - sometimes the Crunchwrap is super dry with hardly anything to it aside from the tortilla and the hard shell but other times it has everything that’s supposed to be in it and is great! If this were just for my order alone, I’d probably give them a 4 because most Taco Bell’s aren’t very consistent anyways from my experience. However, my husband’s order has been messed up without fail EVERY time. It’s always the bean burritos and it’s always in a different way. The first time he said he wanted the red sauce and onion with it, didn’t happen. The most recent order was more interesting though as he clarified he wanted bean (not beef since they had a hard time hearing him over the mic). The board and receipt both showed bean burritos. Yet we got home, and he was disappointed to find out every single one was beef and nacho cheese sauce? And that the receipt showed bean burritos but said no red sauce and no onion? So this time I finally called because it’s happened so often that it’s just frustrating at this point and we’d prefer it if he didn’t have to resort to biting into every bean burrito in the parking lot to verify they’re correct. So anyways, I called, it was around 8pm, the worker sounded half asleep (or possibly high? Seems I’m not the only person who thinks the workers here are better at rolling blunts than burritos according to other reviews 😅) and I could barely understand them. I explained the issue and asked what we can do in the future or if something can be done about this since there’s been an issue every time. He said basically just to start verifying they’re all right when we get them and that’s all we can do and that there wouldn’t be any offers for the inconvenience (no refund, no remake, no free ones next time we go, etc.). Overall just irritating to deal with and poor...
Read moreToday the manager at Taco bell on Gause showed his self to be the worst person I've ever encountered at a fast food restaurant! First I waited 30 min or more in line(but whats new at taco bell). I get to the window, give the cashier my card. I ordered a nacho bell grande which was presented to me with a line of cheese and sour cream! When I asked where's the other toppings, I was told, in an aggravated tone, this is how it comes now . Then when he looked again he realized they forgot tomatoes and beans, but only gave me tomatoes. They hand me the crunch wrap and other items without my beef burrito.when I asked about it , again cleary aggravated he says its in the bag! As I looked again, the cashier says oh here it is! So I hand the bag back to her. The cashier begins studying the receipt and says it only took .75 Off. I checked my account, the money is there I ask her to swipe again. She says I cant I cashed it out. I said well the manager can void it and just rung up the order again. She calls the manager explain HER MISTAKE. he tells her I need to go get the cash and bring it back! When I said I won't be inconvenience due to the cashiers mistake. He says well she won't get her food, walks over and slams the door. I told him I'm not moving until I get my card back. HE proceeds to call the cops on me! The other people behind me are upset. He shut the whole store down to go outside smoke a cigarette and wait for police when he could have done an easy void. It was clear he just wanted to be mean and nasty on a beautiful Sunday evening! I stayed and waited for the cops. The other cook came and gave me my card and apologized. Even the cops thought it was ridiculous that he took such measures. This man should not be dealing with the public at all. My daughter, who wanted taco bell for lunch today, said she's never eating at that...
Read moreUnbelievable! This location closes at 5AM on Sunday morning. I went around 3:35AM and ordered a chicken quesadilla and a burrito. I was then told that they could not serve anything grilled or fried at that time, "the grills and fryers were cooling down before closing". So I decided to go to the Old Spanish Trail location which closes at 4AM on Sunday morning. By the time I got there is was 3:50AM, and the staff was extremely polite AND they let me get the items I intended to order at the other location without any hesitation. I do not plan to go back to the Gause location anytime soon. By the way I intended to leave the star empty, but couldn't post my review without at least one star.
ADDITION:
Well, it happened again. I was told the exact same thing at the Gause location. The grills and the fryers should be left on until closing. If you are open until 4 o’clock in the morning why I shut down 30 minutes early? In all seriousness, what would I order at Taco Bell that is not grilled and/or fried? So when you tell me the grills and fryers are down, what in the heck am I supposed to order? Is that your polite way of telling me that you are not serving any one because you all are ready to go home? I understand not many people go to Taco Bell at 3:35 in the morning, but some people do. People that go to Taco Bell at 3:35 in the morning deserve the same level of service that people do at 3:35 in the afternoon. Thanks for nothing Taco Bell...
