Taco Bell / KFC — Restaurant in Smyrna

This Taco Bell has been awful for many years. I try to give it another chance every few months or so, with no luck. Every time I go to the drive thru during normal, reasonable business hours they tend to not even be open or taking orders. One time at 8pm there was a lady standing in the middle of the drive thru gesturing cars away to leave which was weird. Another time there were 2 cars in front of me and I watched as the both of them (and myself) sat in front of the speaker for at least 4-5 minutes without being spoken to. Recently, around 9pm I sat in front of the menu for about 5 minutes before a lady parked in the corner by the dumpster (I assume a worker?) started yelling something at me, I couldn’t hear anything she said and I wasn’t sure she was talking to me at first, but she must have been telling me they weren’t open.. when I pulled away there were cops searching the white building in front of where you turn out of Taco Bell so I can understand that all, but an employee was literally hanging half of his body out of the drive thru window so he must not have been that concerned, so to not even speak up and tell me when I was at the menu that they were closed was rude. They should have turned the lights on the menu off if that was the case too. Also, if you even get your order, they tend to only give you a shoestring size line of meat on your taco so they really rip you off too. I always just tend to drive to the Taco Bell all the way down by dover target… at least they usually have...

Is it possible to give negative stars? I’ve always supported struggling businesses, but the exceptionally rude staff and management just put this place over the edge. I received a notification that my order was ready. Pull up to this particular Taco Bell. Door is locked. Nobody answering at the drive-through, so I just sat at the window. I watch a woman drive-by park, her car run in the building and come to the window and insist that I come inside to pick up my order. After she unlocks the door to let me in, she’s extremely overwhelmed and snarky and proceeds to tell me that I need to give my order because their iPad isn’t working. I asked her if my order was ready as indicated in the text message I received. NO MAM! You have to GIVE me your order!!” “ I told you our iPad isn’t working!” Meanwhile, I have to be back at work in five minutes so I told her that if the order isn’t already prepared then I don’t want it. (Frankly, I just cannot support a business that is so poorly run for such a long time, and treat customers in such a condescending manner. It wouldn’t have been that big of a deal if she had just started out with. “I’m sorry.” Photo attached is from the last time I went there. These were inedible. The staff locks down the inside so people can't come in when it's still daylight out ...the windows are so disgusting you can't see through them. The staff is constantly running in and out of the building to smoke ciggs and who knows what else. The staff are rude and does not practice safe serve food handling protocols which is evident in the fact that they don't want anyone to see what they are doing when handling your food. I didn't even feel comfortable eating my food (after spending 28.00) just thinking bout their dirty uniforms, the lady and gentleman standing outside smoking for the 30 mins in between visits as they said I had to come bo in 30 mins for 12 tacos....which I wouldn't have minded except there was no other business besides myself there at the time. I wasted my money time and gas on food I couldn't even stomach eating after seeing what I did.....there was a older gentleman outside (still) after arriving and returning after 30 mins who tried to open the door then said the lobby was closed due to electrical issues...but that lobby was well lit up from what I could see.... From what I could gather these employees don't like their job. Don't want customers, or to work. Good luck to the franchise owner because then workers don't care about your investment. I am likely going to report them to the...
