My Pizza Had BUGS in It

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with Cuzino's Family Pizza. I ordered a pizza through DoorDash as a gift for a family dealing with a death, thinking it would be a thoughtful gesture since they are located nearby. The instructions were to leave the pizza at the door, and I monitored the app closely to ensure everything went smoothly.

The delivery was scheduled for around 6:30 PM, but the pizza was actually left outside at 6:00 PM without any notification to the family. When they finally discovered the pizza, it was infested with bugs. This was incredibly upsetting, especially given the circumstances.

I called Cuzino's and spoke with the manager on duty on June 13 at 6:46 PM Eastern Standard Time. I explained the situation, but he insisted they were only following DoorDash's instructions and there was nothing they could do. I emphasized that it would have been common sense for a delivery service to ring the doorbell to notify the family, as is standard practice. However, the manager was unhelpful and dismissed my concerns after consulting with his superior.

The customer service at Cuzino's was extremely poor. The manager was dense, incompetent, and unhelpful, showing no empathy or willingness to rectify the situation. This was a horrible experience, and it highlights a severe need for better customer service. The store manager did not assist in rectifying this.

I strongly advise against using Cuzino's Family Pizza. The service was terrible, and the lack of accountability and basic customer care was appalling. Please avoid this place to prevent a similar experience.

P.s. upon reading previous reviews, this restaurant has a history of poor service, including the use of racial slurs....

My son and his team order way too much from this horrible place. They are not small orders either......$60-$70 each time. This time I went to the door and when the driver took the bag (had multiple pasta orders in it) off the top of the pizza box you could clearly see that it was crushed. He was just going to hand me the box but I asked him if the pizza was stuck to the top of the box again. Yes, yes it was. He called the store and the manager hung up on him before he finished talking so he had to call back. Do you think he would offer a discount or coupon.....no. They want you to sign the ticket, then they take the smashed pizza and bring you a new one. Seriously, we get to wait longer and half of the guys can eat and the others have to wait for another pizza to arrive. I would not trust a pizza being delivered under these circumstances. The manager is so rude and disrespectful, who knows what he would do to it. I will not allow them to waste another dollar at this...

The place was completely empty at 5pm, so that should have been a sign. The food was lackluster. The kids menu had three items, literally. My 7 year old daughter ordered a regular cheeseburger since there was nothing on the kids menu she liked. The waitress asked if we wanted one patty instead of two (the cheeseburger normally has two patties) since she was young. so I assumed that was normal and said yes thinking it would be a normal restaurant sized burger. Instead it was a tiny burger, smaller than the frozen patties Americans make at BBQs. And no fries. So she was still very hungry when she finished it. The kicker, they still charged the same price despite only serving half the burger, which was more than $8! The waitress who asked if we wanted half the burger just said that was normal. Hell no that's not normal! There are other issues too but that was the real kicker. So don't eat here unless you want to pay extra money to get almost no food, and you like...
