Wendy's — Restaurant in Smyrna

We decided to try Wendy's for a late dinner one night and it was a decent experience at best. The dining room was still closed, a few weeks after everywhere else had opened back up so we were forced to use the drive-thru (What about those that have to walk?). After waiting for a good 30 minutes (6 or 7 cars) in line, we finally get to the window and after it took so long I decided to check the bags real quick. Sure enough, there was 3 of the meals I ordered missing and I had to remind the guy what I had ordered. Eventually everything was corrected and the meal was pretty decent but not worth the hassle.

Update: Tuesday May 23rd 2023 - After giving plenty of chances for Wendy's to get it right, we have decided to just cut ties and find some other places to eat. I can certainly understand when things happen unexpectedly such as a bus of students showing up unannounced and the chaos that follows, but this Wendy's has taken a serious turn for the worse in the last few years. Every single time we go there, at least 2 to 3 of our meals are just plain wrong and they have no clue what is going on with any of the food. I've had complete orders given away to the wrong people, I've gotten other people's orders time and time again, and I've gotten the completely wrong order at least 7 out 8 times. The kicker is that I literally order a double stack or a Dave's Double with JUST ketchup and mayo, nothing else, truly not hard at all. Okay I'm done ranting for now but my next review sure won't...

This Wendy's has come a long way.... They're really good now, and they were alright when I first moved here back in the early 2000s, then they went sort of downhill for a bit and food tasted awful and looked sloppy.

After the remodel a while ago, I feel like it put some good vibes in there because it's been great ever since! I've seen one of the manager ladies asking an employee to prepare more meat for the chili because it wasn't meaty enough and I was surprised! I mean most managers usually cut costs by having less meat. I appreciate that because I usually get the chili half the time!

Definitely one of our families favorite places to grab a quick bite. Can't beat those prices! I think the only thing I would change about this place is how the parking lot is so small that it's one way. Oh, and if you can't fit in the drive thru line when you turn in, just go around the darn building will you? If someone gets in front of you, it won't kill you, I promise! Leave sooner if you're in a rush! Being late is no one's fault but your own.. okay I'm going off now and uh, ma'am.... this is a Wendy's. 🤣

Literally the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Wendy’s. The burgers were both completely undercooked. One of them was cold in the center. The fries were stale and the chicken nuggets were crushed and cold. Also, the sandwich I ordered was made wrong, and I was too afraid to have it fixed after my interaction with the staff already.

This staff were completely unprofessional, rude, and aggressive. They were arguing over whether they were going to take our order or not. Half of the staff that were visible, were eating food and touching food and serving food without washing hands. Everyone was on their cell phone except for one person.

The floors were dirty. The counters were dirty. There was trash everywhere. I was sticking to everything. It was so bad that my shoes were sliding in the parking lot because the floors inside were so disgusting that I couldn’t scrape whatever I was stepping on off my shoes.

Apparently, the manager was in the kitchen and was visible, allowing all this ridiculousness to happen and taking part in the activities.
