This review is strictly concerning their wings. I have been eating at this location for several years. However, the month of October has been terrible for their chicken wings. For starters the wings are way overcooked. You could chalk it up to a one time experience, but no, I did a reorder of a different flavor of wings and had the same experience several days later. Order the Cloud 9 wings. They were extremely dry, skin shriveled up (means overcooked) and maybe 2 teaspoons of sauce. So did another order days later and order buffalo thinking I just had a one-time experience. No, the same exact thing. Overcooked wings and 2 teaspoons of sauce which means I had dry wings with 0 flavor. Literally couldn't taste any buffalo. So they can't use the excuse of they tossed the wings in sauce beforehand and then just added additional sauce in the togo box. Now I've had wings from this location many times in the past. Never had a bad experience like this. I would recommend the owner to place an order for wings themselves without the staff knowing it's the owner's order and they will see exactly what I mean. Go to the location in Stockbridge and the food quality is completely different. The pizza is decent, sometimes it's good, sometimes it's okay. Just inconsistencies overall at this location. Customer service is always good here, that's one constant.

I came here on a Saturday around 7pm. Was very relaxed almost empty. We were greated as soon as we walked in. We were sat within two minutes. In less than five the waiter came over and greeted us asked about drinks. I ordered a bottle of wine because two glasses would be the cost of a full bottle anyway. The gluten free pizzas were good. I was not blown away tho by the pizza because I am not a huge fan. My kids were very happy tho! The artichoke dip however rocked my world. I have had dip over the course of my life but it was never like this. So many flavors and textures and it was not watery. I highly recommend. The bathroom was very clean and it was just a nice casual place over all. Four three people our food with tip came close to 100 bucks. Way more than expected but it was gluten free so.. overall delicious I would return! What I don't like the seating area to wait to be seated and the pickup food bar location in the front. People coming in were confused as if we were waiting for our pickup or waiting to be seated and not sure if they should walk past us. That area is kinda tight. But that's my only critique. Overall five stars

But my dine in experience was 5 stars. If I ever do take out, I'm going to head straight there so I don't risk them making it early and it sitting. Definitely better for dine in! Hopefully they'll not make carry out orders too early anymore! 6/10/22-Take out experience, 4 stars: While it wasn't the best mellow mushroom pizza I've had, it was good. Pretzels and cheese were good. Wish MM wasn't soo expensive and that cheese came either with the pretzels or that they had a half order of bites! Not the stores fault, but I'd have it more often if those were offered and it was cheaper. $13 for a 10" is crazy! Again, not the best made MM pizza I've had, but not the worse. Decent and quick curbside service. Not sure if it was just made early and sat out or if it's normally like this though. Will have to give dine in a try one day.

Edited to give them 5 stars. Tried dine in 6/12/22. Staff was great, pizza was better than my carry out one...which confirms they did make it early and it sat out before I got there. I have been to this place 2 other times(once as takeout and once with a group of coworkers). My third (and final) visit was with my coworker/friend. I usually love their jerk chicken sandwich, so I ordered it this past visit. There were tables who received their food long before us, who were paying their bills by the time our food arrived. It might be important to mention that those patrons were white. I looked around and noticed that all of the white patrons had been served, yet an African American family (who had arrived before us) had not been served and we had still not received our food(I am African-American and my friend is white). When my sandwich did arrive, it was not the jerk chicken sandwich I typically get. It was diced chicken on a sandwich. I am not one to complain and don't think I've ever sent food back. However, I brought it to our server's attention that it wasn't what I ordered. She began to debate with me, even asking me how long ago I had ordered this sandwich because it never came with the items and flavor I mentioned since she's worked there and she'd been working there a few months. My friend and I were floored, yet I still maintained my composure- only quietly complaining with my friend. Needless to say, she went in the back to confirm if I was correct, then offered me a new sandwich, free of charge, within 10 minutes(Meanwhile, it had taken 30-45 minutes for the first sandwich so my friend and I found it odd that I could get a sandwich that fast). I thanked her though and was appreciative of the comp and correction. It came out correct the 2nd time, though tasting slightly off. Well, I have been paying for that "free'' sandwich since Friday and it is Sunday. I have spent my Memorial Day weekend with food poisoning and unbearable diarrhea that seems to only be slightly letting up. I have slept almost the entire weekend (when not on the toilet) and have been extremely weak. I don't know if something was done to my food or this was a food safety issue, but I am considering calling the health department. I read the post where the woman found a dead fly in her salad and it now has me wondering what they had me digesting. Oh, and despite the poor experience I was still nice enough to leave a tip. Went there because I had heard such great things about this place. The service was terrible and the food...it was food. If you like having your meal staggered this is the place to go. I ordered a small pizza, wings and a half a hoagie. The wings came out first...about 7 minutes later my pizza came out and 10 minutes later my sandwich came out. Now when I go out to eat I prefer we all eat at the same time; not in shifts. The waiter; can't remember his name because I never saw him, he was too busy flirting with the waitresses behind the counter. The Wings were the best part of the meal; they were big and meaty with a lot of flavor. The pizza; after all the hype, was sad...I had Pepperoni, bacon and pineapple...2 pieces of bacon in an x in the middle of the pie, minimal pineapple; i counted 12 pieces (little ones) on the whole pizza...the pepperoni had about 2 pieces on each piece...the sandwich; when it finally came; (no chips- I would have asked but after he dropped it off he disappeared again just a dried out sandwich that probably sat for several minutes) was dry there was a splash of Mayo on it and and after waiting several minutes for the waiter to come back and check on us I asked another server to please either get my server or bring me some mayo. When the server finally appeared he asked if we need anything I said yes a to go box and the bill. this was another long wait...as I guess he had o flirt some more. HE brings my bill and no box...another 5 minutes and he appears with the box...waiting to pay my bill...still no server...I finally go to the counter because I am tired of waiting for him to make an appearance; I go to the counter and I finally see why the service sucked...he is at the counter chatting with two waitresses. he takes my payment like no big deal that I did not come back to check on you AT ALL. I doubt I will ever go back to the Mellow Mushroom. Overpriced for the service...

Bad experience ,poor customer service and i beleive its race motivated. I came in today to order food and wanted to order dessert ....well it didn't turn out that way . I attempted to order a cookie but was told by the server that the cookies were frozen so I then notified i wouldn't mind waiting for the cookies to be a warmed up due to me not being in a rush .... I was told by the server she would have to ask the kitchen.... which was odd . The server then came back and said the cook said the cookies were frozen and they dont want to cook 1 cookie. That was a weird thing to say to a customer and non sensible so i then asked well do they plan on making cookies today ? Which she replied yes , so then i said well why is it an issue to cook the tray of dessert if its going to be prepared today , then what's the significance in the time frame ? The server said she didn't know and walked off. I then went to the counter and asked to speak with a manager for clarity. I spoke with the manager named , Barbie, And I asked her about this whole cookie ordeal which she then oddly began telling me how they just opened after 4 days closed due to a severe plumbing issue .... which didn't answer the question of the desert ! Smh Lol I then asked Barbie again that I still don't understand why the cookies couldn't be ordered which she then said "hold on let me ask the kitchen" .. Barbie walked over a few feet and held a quick convo with a member of the kitchen staff and then came back to me and said " they're just not going to make cookies right now " " were prioritizing what food items were cooking and making cookies is at the bottom of that list " .... I feel that was totally rude and 100% not the way customer service should be handle at a restaurant! I will complain to corporate . And in addition I returned to my seat which I was ignored by the server for the remainder of the time I...
