I love coming here to get my locs retightened! My entire family comes here for this main reason: Biannca's hands are truly blessed. Now, I honestly don't understand the most recent negative comment because none of that took place; I was there and I am definitely coming from an unbiased position. Since I've been coming to Naturaly You everyone knows that you have to book an appointment on the Style Seat App. She makes it very clear when she speaks with you over the phone. When this lady came in, Biannca confirmed it was her who phoned to be a walk in; once the lady said yes Bianca then told her to hold until someone's available to shampoo her. She agreed and sat down. I say again she AGREED. Once Biannca realized that a chair hasn't freed up yet she went to speak with the lady to inform her what was going on. Once Biannca stepped into the waiting area the lady was standing up about to leave. Biannca apologized and said that she will get her personal assistant( who was busy doing office work) to do her hair. The lady insisted that she had somewhere to be and was so short on time. Now Biannca isn't going to beg anyone to stay to get a service so in a very polite way she said , oh ok well if you have somewhere to be I won't keep you. Keep you as in, take any more of your time. This is when the lady began to back peddle and said she can only stay for a shampoo but she has to go afterwards. This means that she no longer has time for the braiding service! Biannca asked if she was sure and she said yes. From there , Biannca spoke with her assistant to stop the work she was doing to wash the clients hair because she is pressed for time SO ITS ONLY A WASH. Her assistant took the lady to the washing area and provided the service and placed her under the dryer afterwards. I remember the assistant coming to ask, what should be done to her hair afterwards since she declined earlier on the cornrows ( because of time). So Biannca said to place them in twist so that they won't take up any more of the clients time. Once the lady was done she came in to pay. Now, Biannca said she gets paid through; you guessed it: StyleSeat. However, the woman was acting as if she couldn't download the app to pay$15. She asked if she could cash app Biannca the money and she said no because her cash app is having some issues. Then the client asked if she could zelle it to her, the reply was no because Bianncas bank didn't have a zelle. All this time this lady could have downloaded the app to pay. After the lady stood there silent and everyone was uncomfortable Biannca asked if she could do Apple Pay. Hesitant, she agreed and we sat there to walk her through the set up process. We helped set up her Apple Pay and all this time she could have set up a StyleSeat account. Took the exact amount of time. Listen, I get it: the client was expecting to be a walk in like a barber shop or mainstream salon like super cuts and get seen in less than 10min. But with small business that have skill; even a walk in will have to be patient. But honestly, the moment she had to wait it was an issue. I think people believe that the term walk in means you can literally walk in and immediately sit in a chair even if people had appointments months in advance. It's a very selfish mindset to have.
But all in all I think Biannca handled this situation very well. She accommodated the client to the best of her ability with time...

The owner just responded. Instead of owning up to her mistakes, she put a slur on my integrity and implied I was lying:
She said I was a walk-in. However, I will be adding a screenshot to the photo section that will show I called their salon on June 22 (today is June 26). The screenshot will show we had a 2 minute phone conversation. During this phone call, I was told to come in on Saturday⦠which I did. I was never a walk-in.
She also mentioned I asked the girl washing my hair to come do my hair in my house! Lol! This is hilarious, you know why? She had on no mask. (Before you imply Iām lying again, she had on 2 nose rings, right? How would I know that?) This is COVID season. Why would I ask A COMPLETE STRANGER, one who wasnāt wearing a mask, to come into my house? I donāt know if sheās vaccinated or not. Even is she is vaccinated, that doesnāt mean she still canāt get COVID. I donāt know how many peoplesās hair sheās done without wearing a mask. I donāt know anything about her. I ask again: why would I invite a complete stranger into my house during times like these? Why would I put my family at risk?? For hair? You astound me.
I did see the other lady while I was leaving. She seemed to be quite nice. But do you know what proper etiquette would have been? Explain to me you had double booked without realizing and apologize for your mistake. But instead, you had the other girl tell me you had cancelled my second service and that I had to leave when my hair was dry. No matter how you try to put it, that was wrong and you know it.
PS Check you photo section. I have attached a screenshot which shows I called your store. It will show the date of the call, how long the call lasted and the phone number the call was placed to.
āāāāāāāā- Original Review: Worse experience ever. Hereās what happened:
A few days before going to this hair salon. I called and asked if they would be able to get me in for a simple wash and then some cornrows. They said yes.
The day of, I call again to confirm and they had me come in. I get there and they have me wait. Iām thinking wait 5 mins, so no problem right? Wrong! 20 mins later, still waiting. I hear people talking the whole time, but Iām thinking theyāre working on a client and just making conversation. Wrong! A lady eventually comes out and says āWe forgot about you! We forgot you were here.ā
At this point, I tell her I was thinking of leaving because I had somewhere to be later. You know what her response was? āYou can leaveā. I was shocked by the rudeness. Anyway, I decide to stay because I really believe in supporting our own. You would think, that would be the end of the issues, right? Wrong!
Well, I get my hair washed (the girl who washed it was amazing). Then Iām under the dryer. You know, because itās just been washed and Iām also getting cornrows.
Imagine my disbelief when the girl who washed my hair comes and tell me after my hair dries Iāll have to leave because since I said I have to be somewhere later, they have canceled the cornrows I scheduled and put someone else in my spot!
I have never been so disappointed by the level of service I got at this...
