Well I have definitely changed my view on this restaurant. I had made reservations. When we arrived we got seated way in the back it was very dark. My husband had to use my phone light to see the menu. That didn't go over too well. My husband decided to order the crab and shrimp stuffed mushrooms. Then the waitress brought some kind of dip with bread slices. That took long time just to get that. Then she realized she had brought out the wrong thing. Then we had to wait a very long time and then she brought out his mushrooms which were meant to be the main course for him. I had ordered Oysters Rockefeller. I was not impressed. I couldn't even hardly taste the oysters because there was so much bread crumbs and some kind of seasoning that I didn't like the taste of. That was somewhat of a complete waste of money for me. Then she brought up the mushrooms for my husband way before I got my meal It took forever to get my main course which was prime rib with lobster. By the time I got mine he was all done with his food and had to sit there and watch me eat. The waitress said she was sorry and only offered a cup of soup. My husband said not much of an offering. Then when I got my prime rib with my Lobster the lobster was just barely warm and very salty. I could hardly eat it it was so salty and definitely overcooked. My Prime rib was good I have to say. It was cooked perfectly. The waitress we had didn't even come back to refill our water. She kept saying she was going to bring things to us and never did. I asked her for more butter and she said sure and then never brought any. I had asked another waitress which brought the butter right away. Just getting a glass of water took forever. I wanted to take my husband out for a nice Valentine's dinner. I had to apologize to him because of the poor service and how long it took to just get our food. He said he will never come back to this place again. It made me feel bad that he had to deal with that. If you want to have a good quick meal I would not come here. I feel like for the money that I paid which was quite a lot that it was way overpriced for what I got and the...
Read moreThis was our first time here, food was good. Service was horrible at best.
We sat in the back dining area, and waited for the server. After 10 minutes go by, our hostess comes back to the table to ask us if we had a reservation... Not sure why, but we said no and she walked away. It took almost 20 minutes from the time we sat for someone to come by and drop waters off. I asked if we could order, and the gal said that our server would be right out. We ordered our drinks and food at the same time about 5 minutes later. It took 55 minutes from the time that we sat, to the time that the food showed up at the table.
There was another table of 3 that sat next to us after we had been there for a half hour. Their food came out within 5 minutes of ours. They received excellent service, as they commented on it, so maybe we got forgotten about.
The restaurant was 40% full at best on a Sunday morning, this wasn't a case of overcrowding, or under staffing.
We ordered Chicken Fried steak and eggs, 2 orders of French toast with eggs, and 2 orders if teddy bear pancakes with eggs. It wasn't an overly complicated request, and shouldn't have taken as long as it did. The order took about 30 minutes to show up.
The high chair for our infant son looked like it was dated from the 80's and cut his leg while we were waiting. We had to get him a bandaid because he was bleeding.
We had to ask for salt and pepper to come out after our food arrived. The salt shaker was compacted in the inside and nothing was coming out, when we took he top off, it looked like crusted tobasco all around the rim. It was disgusting.
I felt bad for the server because he seamed like a nice enough guy, but the time it took to get everything was beyond rediculous. The whole meal took over an hour and a half from sitting to the time the bill came.

Read moreWe wanted to like this place because it looked cute, but the food was absolutely horrendous. I ordered the Irish Benedict and my wife had the corned beef hash, I almost always order corned beef if I see it on the menu, so I am very familiar with the taste of corned beef. When the food arrived there was a undeniable smell of turned beef that was emanating from the plate. We took a bite of the corned beef hash and immediately regretted it. It tasted like the smell of food that was left in a Tupperware on a counter for a week, and had a very vinegary after taste. We told the waitress and she very kindly brought us a plate to scoop the corned beef on to and told us she would tell the chef. The smell was so bad we had to place the plate in another table because it was making us feel ill. She brought us bacon to replace the beef, but the oils from the corned beef were still on the plate, I'm surprised they didn't just bring us a new plate of food. She said the cook said they "make their own corned beef in house differently than most places, it is very pugant and it's either hit or miss with the customers." I don't know why you would intentionally make corned beef hash that was sour and pungent, but I like mine salty and savory.
The potatoes pancakes were soaking wet with grease and the texture was so mushy that it had the consistency of uncooked dough. It made for a Benedict that was all mush and had was giving baby food.
The hollandaise was completely bland and the eggs had no seasoning.
The bacon was really good though.
The waffles and pancakes looked fine but stay away from the food that might not get ordered very often, i.e. CBH, crab, shrimp, and the greasy potato cakes.
This was the worst breakfast we have ever had and we will not be returning, I will tell everyone I know...
