The Indian Restaurant in Snoqualmie was most awaited. Ambience is o.k. Food is ok but not that Wow. Service is poor keeping in mind an Indian restaurant. The place is made very congested just for more covers. As a result the cleaning of the place is poor and has become difficult. There is no proper, required circulation space for the guest and Staff. The guest feels very uncomfortable and so is the staff. Garnishing and presentation needs improvement. Always serve soya sauce, Chilly Sauce and Vinegar with green chillies. along the Chinese order. Meet- Greet -Smile is completely missing. The owner as well as staff were found under tremendous pressure resulting in an unfavorable experience. The Customer is always a god and they mean the owner and the staff should realise the fact - This is the mantra of hospital industry. Every day briefing seems to be missing. At present less covers more satisfied customers should be the aim . Always listen to the customer and take the feedback in the right spirit for betterment . Don't make the guest feel that you are ignoring. Do not argue with guests inculcating the habit of patiently listening with a smile is appreciated. Always try to adjust the guests and their needs. One should not be adamant and rigid . You should always be flexible and obliging. There are many tips but if these few tips are followed you can see and feel the immense difference in work culture, guest relations and satisfaction. Guests should always take good memories. Please don't take it otherwise as it's not that easy to run a Restaurant. Restaurant business is like a war check your soldiers and ammunition at every time and always be alert.Good Luck and Best of...
Read moreOkay food, rude service. We went here for dinner on Valentine's night and asked for a table for three people. They were hosting a catered event we weren't a part of but were seated anyway. Our server asked us to order within a few minutes of just two of us having arrived, we asked to wait for the third to show up. When they did, we waited a while for service and when the server finally came back he immediately told us to "hurry up and order because I need this table." We decided not to leave right then because there was really nowhere else to go on a Valentine's night. When we ordered, he proceeded to harass about not ordering cocktails, trying to sell them like a used car, leaning over the back of my partner and tapping on the menu, telling us how good they were. VERY strange and uncomfortable interactions with the server. Do you want us to hurry up and get the table cleared or do you want us to stick around for drinks? Which is it?
Tikka masala was okay, no spice (they did not offer us a spice range when we ordered). The roti was slightly burnt and dry. Portions were okay. Nothing special.
We asked a different server, not ours, for help a couple of times when we were trying to box our food to leave She was much nicer, but the staff seemed generally ill-equipped to handle the size of crowd in the restaurant this night. The table next to us waited about 10 minutes before they had to ask to even be given menus.
Interestingly, there were one to two tables open and unseated the entire time we were there. Not sure why we were treated so rudely when they clearly had plenty...
Read moreI recently visited India Belly, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The moment you step in, you're greeted with the light Indian music and warm aroma of Indian spices that immediately sets the tone for an authentic culinary adventure.
The ambiance is cozy and inviting, with just the right mix of traditional Indian decor and modern touches.
The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure your dining experience is comfortable and enjoyable.
Now, onto the star of the show—the food! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor. The Railway Mutton Curry was perfectly spiced, with tender mutton and a highlight of our meal. The Garlic Naan was soft, fluffy, and a perfect companion to the curry. We also enjoyed the Butter Chicken , which was fragrant and full of well-cooked, flavorful tender pieces od boneless chicken. What truly impressed me was the attention to detail. Each dish was beautifully presented, and the portions were generous. It’s clear that the chefs at India Belly take pride in their craft, using fresh ingredients and traditional recipes to create a memorable dining experience.
The prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you get. It's great for a casual meal out, and they also offer takeaway if you're in the mood to enjoy a delicious Indian feast at home.
Overall, India Belly is a fantastic addition to the local food scene. Whether you're a fan of Indian cuisine or trying it for the first time, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. I’ll definitely be back to explore more...
