Massive Sequoia tree section, which was hauled by train car to this location in (I believe 1890's). Impressive to see, and it is also a nice place to see the old railroad train cars which are parked on the line just next to it as well. There is a massive picnic area (covered) which can also be used if you would like. The train car which holds the old lumber is kind of an interesting engineering bit on its own. Walk across the street for some Dark Horse coffee if you get the chance, because it is good.

How can one not stop to admire such an ancient, strong, beauty that shows the history of this land? It’s heartbreaking knowing that these giants that have graced the earth for time immemorial have almost all but been wiped out by the greed of people. But besides wanting to stop and pay honor to this wooden giant, it’s a great place to stop and take pictures if you’re a fan of show twin peaks!! This log, and other parts of snoqualmie, were featured prominently in the cult classic show!!!

Large grassy park. Few picnic tables. Long paved pathway through the park and along multiple display train cars. Multiple areas of paved free parking, some areas are reverse back in stalls, easy to find from the main through road. Large gazebo. Doggie poop bags located in multiple areas.
