Terrible experience at this Tullys. After ordering drinks the server carded myself and my boyfriend. Not a problem but we are at this location pretty frequently and are never carded so it was slightly irritating as we’re both very visibly of age.
After receiving our IDs the server asked for another form for me. She didn’t explain why, just that she needed another form for the manager to verify. I gave her my debit card and she took it and our IDs away and left us sitting for over 20 minutes. At this point I was pretty irritated as I had just gotten off of a 8 hour shift at my own job where I am also a server.
Our server never came back to our table with our IDs or my debit card which had me more and more uncomfortable as time went by. She finally reappeared but without our things and immediately went to the table next to us to get their food or drink order.
At this point I was ready to leave, we flagged down the server who tried to walk away from us quickly and and asked where our things were. She told us we would have to wait for the manager to bring them out.
The manager brought them out along with his bad attitude and explained that it was policy to ask for two forms of ID as I’m from out of state (I’m from NY, not the foreign). I asked him what policy he was referring to as I’m a server myself and have never heard of such a thing. He stated that it was Tullys policy and all servers should have been doing it from the beginning which I found interesting as we have never even been carded before there and have probably had a dozen visits over the last 6 months.
I’m very curious what sort of verification process the server and manager were using to make sure my ID and debit matched and I’ll be contacting the franchise owner for some more...
Read moreI couldn't have asked for a more pleasant and entertaining evening!
My group and I were greeted normally, and seated quickly. The waitress didn't take any time to come and take our drink orders. On a fun note, like many other similar styled restaurants that offer free appetizers/snacks, they gave us a complimentary popcorn basket!
Our food was delivered to our table shortly after we had ordered, and it was well worth the price. I had ordered the crispy chicken salad, and they do not play around when they say they serve "the world's best chicken tenders." Their chicken tenders are a mouth watering kind of good! Their pricing was to be expected and worth the quality of food being served. In addition, the popcorn was just the right amount of salty and buttery to add a little fun to our dining experience.
We visited Tully's in the evening, and it happened to be on the busier side. Despite that, our server was very on top of our orders and checking in on us. I never felt overwhelmed by their presence, but also didn't feel like I wasn't being taken care of at all. They were friendly, polite, and accommodating.
The establishment itself is spacious but with good reason. From observation, I can tell this place can get pretty packed very quickly. They offer bar, table, and booth seating options. There are plenty of T.V.'s and screens littered across the walls for everyone's viewing needs.
I absolutely loved the time I spent here at Tully's. I would recommend it for a number of different occasions: Birthday's, get-togethers, date nights, reunions. This place is a blast and a half! If you're staying in the hotel next door or happen to be near it, I would definitely stop in and grab a bite at...
Read moreWent here to have a couple of drinks with fellow co-workers after work. We get inside, the bartender does her due diligence to check ID however she told my coworker that she needed 2 forms of ID just for her...and that along with her ID if she had a credit card on her that would suffice...when we gave her the ID which the expiration was 5/14/24 the bartender stated that it was expired and when my coworker replied it is not expired ....she rudely said it is and that she could go read the sign regarding identifications....I looked at my friend and explained that it was not considered valid if it was expired....she handed me the ID and sure enough it was valid....apparently the bartender should read her own sign . She then brought the manager who apologized for the mistake and went out of his way to explain that last month this same bartender almost got caught with serving someone without a valid ID and she is nervous....I said I understand her being cautious but her attitude and rudeness was not necessary. He agreed and apologized! We left and thanked the host for being pleasant and professional and went to another place for our drinks where were treated with the utmost respect and the customer service was on point. To the bartender who gave us a hard time....you just lost your place of business....over $100 and you lost a great tip to which if you had treated us well we would have remained and returned. We will never go there again and we will take our business where we feel welcomed and our...
