Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in South Carolina

This was by far the worst experience. Me and my husband decided to come here at the boiling springs location April 20,2024. Fist off, when we arrived there were plenty of tables available, instead the host decided to move all the dirty dishes from one table to the table across from where she cleaned for us to sit. Mind you those dishes sat there the entire two hours we were here. We started off with a nice sweet waitress. She took our appetizer but before it came out we ordered a second appetizer and a drink from the bar. Second app, arrives and we place our entree order. By this time I look up my drink is sitting at the bar. 12minutes pass, and yes I counted, our meals were on the way out. During this time the bartender and another waitress is leaning over and talking over my drink. Of course I no longer wanted it. Our waitress then goes and brings me the drink, before she sat the drink on the table I politely informed her I no longer wanted the drink. She turns to walk off then turns back around and asks why, I kindly informed her the drink had been sitting there for some time and it was probably watered down by then. I assured her it wasn't her fault and she proceeded to walk towards the kitchen. We are eating and we realized we are out of water, but this time it's been roughly 20mins, the table behind us was complaining that the waitress has disappeared and they just wanted to pay and get out of there. Finally 30mins or so later another waitress comes and brings us our checks. Mind you, I'm thirsty now, the Alfredo pasta I ordered didn't have any sauce and was dry and I haven't had anyone refil my glass over 30 mins now. And I wanted a dessert. The manger never came to apologize. The new waitress just said our old waitress had a person problem. I was just ready to go at this point. This was the worst service and I'm more disappointed in the manger. You couldn't, or should I say you didn't care to even come out and offer an apology or anything in that manner. This was the worst service. The food wasn't all that good. My Alfredo pasta was dry, it's like they didn't put any Alfredo sauce. Very disappointed and will not...

Based upon the amount of people that were seated in the dining room I thought the service would have been better. Plus there was three waiters/waitress one bartender and two Managers of some sort. My waitresses name was Jennifer and she was polite and respectful. However she was very abset minded and wrote nothing down. She had 3 tables when we arrived.. all of which had their main course on the table. We were her fourth table and we ordered something from the 2 for $29 menu. The appetizer was a complete disappointment. I mean cheese sticks shouldn't have been that difficult but yet they tasted like they just came out the microwave. Then the half shot glass of Marianara sauce must have been a joke. I requested another which I never received. 15 minutes later we got our food and my steak was over cooked but yet wasn't so bad I couldn't eat it or send it back to be remade. I might also add my girl friend asked for extra Marianara again at this point to which we never received. I ran out of my drink and so did she. After she got the people in front of us squared away and claimed she was going to get us refills and the sauce we never saw her again. I try not to complain much but I promise you that I will not be going back because of the lack of care for their own customers. I realize I didn't order the most expensive thing on the menu but I don't think that gave them the okay to give us substandard services. I'm not angry but very disappointed. I truly hope the leadership steps up and makes the nessasry changes to prevent this from happening again. The man who I assume was the shift manager got us our bill and a to go box for leftovers. He was extremely polite and very understanding. I still tipped the waitress because I've worked the service industry but she really didn't deserve that. Please try to work on your management skills you have great people skills just don't let your customers feel like you don't...

After doing some shopping at the Walmart, we decided to dined in at the Applebee's in Boiling Springs. We were expecting to enjoy a hot, delicious meal as a family. Instead, we received our appetizer very promptly but after a very long wait, 3 of the 4 of us received our meals an entire 20 minutes before my husband. Our food was TERRIBLE. The chicken tenders were very dry and entirely over cooked, the fries were cold, hard, and extremely stale; they lacked the expected Applebee's flare. The bacon macaroni and cheese was possibly one of the worst dishes I've ever received in a restaurant! It was cold noodles topped with cold bacon, some sort of cheese sauce, and very lightly sprinkled with cold salad cheese! When my husband's meal finally did come, half of his well done steak was dripping blood and had absolutely no flavor what so ever, the garlic mashed potatoes were so piping hot they cold scorch the tongue....I can't express enough how greatly unsatisfied we were. It's definitely not worth the $57 we paid....On a positive note, the cheese sticks were phenomenal as always. The service staff was extremely polite and inviting. Tyler brought our cheese sticks, and he was in one word amazing! He was so kind and friendly. My husband enjoyed a great brief conversation with him. The waitress, I didn't catch her name, was very apologetic for the long wait and very attentive that our drinks never ran dry. She was also very kind and welcoming....Overall, we enjoyed the staff and the environment but wouldn't recommend the food at this particular Applebee's location, maybe just go here for appetizers and drinks, at least on...
