January 17, 2025: I guess I am a glutton for punishment. I ordered hot fudge brownie sundaes through DoorDash, thinking I would get a better product. WRONG! Once squirt of hot fudge. I am going to take a stab at it and say that the workers are kids playing around instead of delivering a quality product. I called DoorDash and requested a full refund. I have said it before, but I mean it this time: No more Bruster's Ice Cream! I also wrote to the Better Business Bureau and contacted SC Consumer Affairs. I will tell anyone else who will listen. Paying for a product and not receiving it is disappointing, annoying, and dishonest.
They are at it again. I visited Bruster’s today and I was given another Hot Fudge Brownie Sundae without hot fudge.
I just wrote a lengthy email and spoke with an assistant manager at length about my issue at Bruster's on Forum Dr. in Columbia, SC. I was extremely excited about a Bruster's in the Sandhill area. I love their sundaes. I guesss I will only visit Bruster's when we are in Florence, SC. Now, I am extremely disappointed. My husband and I pulled up to the drive thru to place our order. We were immediately asked if we wanted to leave a tip. After saying "no", one of our sundaes was left incomplete. Interesting? Beware of being asked for a tip in the drive thru. You can't see what they are doing and they may conveniently forget something. The sundae in the pics is missing hot fudge. Unfortunately, our sundaes were bagged and we did not eat them until later. We had no idea what...
Read moreChristiana was great and very patient with order taking when it came to us saying it was our first time being at Brusters ice cream shop. But the girl who made our shakes and ice cream was VERY RUDE rolling her eyes and made one of our shakes wrong and made our shakes very watery. We still paid and remained positive but that girl whoever she was does not need to be working there and if next time she is there I will ask for another person to make our shakes because she was so nasty and did not provide good customer service and even when she made the shake wrong we still accepted it and she did not offer to remake it or anything.
Update: went to Bruster’s again for a milkshake and I will not be back. I hate the attitudes that the workers have and they seem to not enjoy their job. They all need customer service training or to find better jobs if you’re not happy with your job then find another one. Workers are still snobby even when I said thank you after receiving my milkshake nothing was said back. So I will not be returning or wasting my money anymore...
Read moreMy daddy and I were so excited that Bruster’s was coming back to this side of town. Having an ice cream shop with a drive-thru nearby is truly the answer to my prayers. Of course we had to stop by on opening day. I got a hot fudge brownie sundae, a scoop of butter pecan for my dad, and a waffle cup with vanilla ice cream and wet walnuts for my mom.
When I tell y’all that was creamiest, most delicious ice cream we’ve had in a long time… B* R* and M* S can kiss our business goodbye. It was beyond good. Might need to make a Bruster’s trip every Monday. Or every other Monday, for the sake of my waistline.
The service was incredible, which I admit I didn’t expect on a first day! The person who took our order sounded so sweet and honestly happy to be there, and I can say the same about the girl at the window. Will one hundred...
