I’m not much of a complainer. But this is ridiculous. I am a business owner in the Duncan area. I used to stop off regularly with my children on the way to school. Today was the last time I will ever visit a Dunkin’ Donuts store. This is the third time in the last 9 months I have been treated disrespectful and or did not get what I ordered and paid for in the drive through. I thought I will give them another chance everyone has a bad day or week.. the first thing I noticed was the traffic flow or lack of since there were no customers directly in front of me. First contact at 7:01am (female voice) “please hold” we wait... 7:07 next contact (female voice)“what can get you?” I spoke clearly and directly... I have done voiceover work professionally in the past. My order: 1 glazed raspberry jelly donut 1 large dark roast coffee plain and 1 dozen assorted donuts please (Female voice) please repeat... I do..we don’t have enough donuts to fill your order. We only have 6 ..6? I said.. I repeat 1 glazed raspberry jelly donut 1 large dark roast coffee plain and 1 dozen assorted donuts please. Then a Male voice in a loud condescending manner sarcastically stated we only have 6 raspberry donuts. I said I never ordered 6 raspberry donuts. This is what I want. 1 glazed raspberry jelly donut 1 large dark roast coffee plain and 1 dozen assorted donuts please ...rude voice again not sure what he said then silence By now the time was 7:11 and I’m still at the drive through and my order has yet to be taken. I decided to give up and left. Why?! I can only imagine that this performance reflects the poor management of this Dunkin Donuts. As a business owner myself...our success or failure is on my shoulders. Employees have to be trained, treated with respect and held to a set performance standard. Hope they can get this straightened...
Read moreI am a driver and I'm telling you DO NOT order delivery from this location. They told me this morning after a ridiculous wait with no one in the dining room (other than an army of delivery drivers) that the reason I'm sitting there waiting for no reason is because they "cater to the drive-thru". Okay. So you're going to disregard the person that paid two times what the person in the Drive-Thru did to get their food hot and quickly, trusting Dunkin' Donuts not to disrespect them in this way. Is it Dunkin' donuts official stance that they treat delivery orders as lesser orders than other orders? Are those customers less valuable than your drive-thru customers? Considering your delivery customers are willing to pay two times what the drive-through person is for your product, you think you would show them slightly more respect at the very least. Considering delivery is now a substantial portion of your overall revenue, you think you would educate your staff not to respect the drive-thru timer more than the timer on these delivery orders. The drive-through timer only impacts your internal processing and maybe causes slight aggravation to the person sitting in the drive-thru. Disregarding a delivery order for 20 minutes, and might I add there were other delivery people all standing in there to the point that by the end of my time waiting the whole room was filled with delivery drivers all being ignored. Clearly delivery is the majority of your business not just part of it so you need to pay attention to it.
Hopefully this one star review gets paid the attention and catering that your drive-thru does. It's not for my benefit, it's for yours. If you don't get it together you're go out of business guaranteed. I have seen more restaurants go out of business for failure to handle delivery properly then not...
