I ordered online , it said my pickup time was 11: 14. I went in store 11:18 staff stated they were waiting on 1 of my 4 subs ordered . I went back outside for another 10 minutes or so came back in , the manager still replied the same thing they were still waiting on one sub . Meanwhile It's customers that came after me that pulled up and had received there order and gone before my online order . the manager saw me came back in again and he said we are still waiting on one of your subs AGAIN, I then stated I lve been waiting a while he then rudely replied yeah everyone has been waiting a while when I've seen for myself they were just skipping over the one sandwich I've been waiting over 30 minutes for. This was the worst experience I've had at this location. I've waited almost and hour for an online order which doesn't make any sense . The third time I went in the manager finally decided to check the order to see what was missing and then dropped one of my subs on the floor . Only switched out the bad and still served it to me. He then and only then did he begin to pull things out to make the final sub that I've waited so long for . I would expect better service from this established which I didn't receive. My order was $39.00 and I couldn't even eat any of them because I didn't know which one he dropped on the floor and still served . Dhec would not approve! Didn't receive order until 11:49 . Ordered ahead of time to skip the wait and I'm very unsatisfied with my service
STILL AWAITING CONTACT FROM OWNERS FOR REFUND DAYS LATER...
Read moreHad a poor experience today. (Backstory) I came in a couple years ago with my wife before going to the movies and a really kickass employee suggested the big kahuna with hot relish and chipotle mayo. It was phenomenal! (Today) Not remembering precisely what the hot relish was called I ordered a big kahuna with chipotle mayo and tried to ascertain what hot peppers they had so I could figure out how to get the same sandwich from before. I was told it already comes with jalapenos, in a manner that said "Hurry up I'm too busy to help you figure out your order". So I just went with the big kahuna with chipotle mayo. As I'm standing by I overheard him tell the cook "A giant 56". No mention of the chipotle mayo to the person actually making my sandwich. I gave the benefit of the doubt, paid for my sandwich and left. I look in the sub, no chipotle mayo. I decided that's fine, bad customer service I just went come back. My wife wouldn't let it go so she goes inside to ask for chipotle mayo, and the guy claims he did put it on but would put more. First I opened the sub, chipotle mayo has a reddish color, it was plain mayo at first and came back red after. Second, I heard the order take fail to pass that info to the sandwich maker. Third, no matter how busy customers should be addressed with primary focus during order taking and not as a temporary interruption of what you are actually focused on, which in this individual's case was as larger order for...
Read moreThis is one of the best Jersey Mike's around but my complaint is directed towards the chain, not the individual store.
I overheard a manager interviewing someone and the young man asked why isn't the starting pay $15 an hour like he was told. The manager explained that its $11 an hour but with tips it should come out to about $15 an hour. That is unacceptable to me. As a customer that is already paying top dollar for a sandwich you are expecting me to tip an hourly worker (not a server that makes $2.35 an hour) and that way I can subsidize YOUR employees wage.
I'm sorry but if Jersey Mike's can't afford to pay their workers $15 per hour they should not be expecting you and me chip in.
The other reason I am done with this chain is price. A regular tuna with chips and a drink is now $14.25. Yes you heard that right, a tuna sandwich lunch is almost $15 now.
I loved Jersey Mike's but I refuse to go there anymore for the 2 reasons above. Maybe the manager can forward this review to corporate and let them know that this is not a sustainable business model.
Remove the tip screen from the checkout, pay that extra $4 out of YOUR pocket and bring the prices back down. ...
