So I'm not sure if the new couple at the restaurant replaced the previous owner whom I really liked and didn't overcharge the food if I needed a substitution. The vibe is totally different now. I've even asked twice if the previous franchise owner/manager was still there or left....and they can't answer my question? Like....all I'm asking is if you're new management...cause it's totally different, and that's fine for those who like it. I've got ARFID, and the steak bowl with a substitute of broccoli and white rice was my favorite meal. I got it 2 weeks ago when this new manager(?) appeared and it's not the same at all, plus pricier. It's not as personable anymore, i know not everyone likes this place and has had the same experience ive had, but this is a nice local spot and it used to feel so welcoming with the previous manager and her daughter. The food also was not the same quality, beef was some how too chewy but soft at the same time, rice was crunchy in some spots, just, not the same, which again I'm one person, others may be happy. But all I want to know is if the previous manager has left??? Could someone there answer my question? If the food quality is the same as last time....what an absolute...
Read moreI placed my order at 7:20pm via Google. The est prepare time was 7:25 according to Google. I knew that sounded too good to be true but the 16year old cashier politely said "oh your order isn't that big, it'll be about 10 mins" Well 30mins goes by and I ask about my order and the cashier now has a HUGE attitude and says "we're busy" and walks off. So the other customers and I start talking amongst ourselves and out of nowhere the Manager walks up and starts Rolling her Neck, Rolling her eyes, saying how she came in on her day off to help, if we want a refund she'll gladly give it . So I took her up on that and asked for a refund. And told her it's not the wait time but the lack of communication and attitude. To which she told the staff NOT to make my order, and told me since I placed a Google order I'll have to wait til she closes tonight to issue a refund. THEN she said "or you could wait and I'll give you the food for free" Another 15mins later she tells me they're making my order now. At this point it's been 45mins since I was told it would only be 10mins.
I couldn't even use the bathroom during my wait because it's "out of order"

Read moreI am only giving this a 1 star because I have to give it one. I actually ordered my food from uber eats and always order the ribeye hibachi plate from the other location in Summerville (which is ALWAYS very good). I recieved my food and got cold overcooked flavorless steak that was not ribeye. I contacted the store and spoke with the "owner" Sandy whom argued with me saying they gave me a ribeye. She then advised me to bring the food back and she will remake it however they were closing and that defeated the whole reason of ordering uber eats. She was not pleasant to deal with and should have not been so argumentative with a customer. Needless to say I will not be ordering from the location again. Save your time and money and order from the Old Trolley location.
The food was aweful. Oh and the rice was crispy and also flavorless like the steak... Extremely...
