I am writing to share my recent experience at your store on July 20th at 12:21 PM (Ticket Number: 292627940). My review is based on the interaction with the cashier who served us, identifiable by her glasses, ponytail, and lavender shirt. Unfortunately, her customer service skills were quite lacking and left a negative impression.
My friend and I were visiting the store for the first time. The cashier was multitasking by arranging snacks while taking our order, never fully engaging with us. When we asked for her favorite dish, she mentioned the "Fancy Nancy." It was another customer, not the cashier, who informed us we could request a sample. The sample was prepared by a kitchen employee and handed to us by the cashier.
We proceeded to order a Fancy Nancy with a side of broccoli without bacon. When my friend, using my card, asked if I wanted to leave a tip, I quietly declined. The cashier, overhearing this, sarcastically remarked, āyouāre so kind,ā which I found unprofessional and audacious.
Upon receiving our order, we discovered the side contained bacon. I returned to the store to correct this. The cashier saw me, turned her back, and whispered to a coworker. Although I cannot be certain, I believe she referred to me as āthe black lady.ā Regardless, this was inappropriate and offensive. Thankfully, another employee assisted me, providing the correct side.
This interaction left my friend and me disheartened. We called and spoke with a manager, who assured us he would address the issue with the shift manager. While the food was excellent, we will not return due to the cashier's behavior, and I will be sharing this experience with my network.
Customer service is paramount in any business. If the cashier is discontent with her role or feels entitled to tips from every customer, perhaps she should reconsider her position. Moreover, I am much more than just a "black lady."

You had one job to do and that was to get an order correct before the postmastes driver picked it up this isn't a good look not to mention the broccoli salad and chicken salad sandwich was very dry so I had to add a little Mayo sugar and some raisins to the broccoli salad and chicken salad I had to scrape it out the croissant and add a little Mayo and a dollop of sour cream to it to make it edible this isn't the first time I've visited Chicken salad chick and had done this once I got home (I had to add Mayo to make it edible) I came back hoping it would be different but yet again I was disappointed I've got coworkers and neighbors who've said the same just like them I won't be returning or order online from them again they could have at least tried to correct their error being they they didn't get the order correct or try the make sure before the order went out everything was completed before the driver arrived disappointed that chicken salad chick let this happen I've order online from postmastes and other restaurants who had made an error apologised and offered to correct the order and they did but chicken salad chick didn't even offer to make good on their error this is bad business I'll be...

The Summerville location used to be good. It was our first experience with yāall and we were hooked! They have been very disappointing the last 3 times we have been there. Food quality, convenience, hospitality, you name it, they have dropped the ball with us. I have called them when I was walking out of the Walmart across the very busy main st area, was immediately put on hold, made it all the way there and stood in line while I was still on hold. I placed my order at the counter while I was on hold. They never picked the phone up. This time as soon as we walked in at 6:30, yāall close at 8:00, we were greeted by a girl giving us a dirty look, everyone at the front counter checking their watches and not hospitable at all. I thought YALL were a southern hospitality based co?!! Not here not today! We had to ask and even the manger was checking her watch!
