Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in South Carolina

This franchise has been one of my favorite of the freshly made, hot sub shops, and this this location did a great job maintaining that reputation.

I ordered the Big Kahuna with steak, giant sized, a bag of chips, and a large mt dew. This came to about $17 total, so it can be a bit expensive, but the giant sandwich could feed 2 normal people, I am just a huge guy that can eat a lot, haha. I think their giant sub is 14 inches long. Their mini sub is 5 inches, and the regular sub is 7 inches.

The white bread was just baked and very soft and fresh and tasted great, the steak was freshly grilled with mushrooms, peppers, and extra cheese that melts into the other ingredients for a full flavor of cheese in each bit, not just on the top of the sub.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and did a great job from greeting me as I walked in to saying 'come back again' as I was leaving. The store was clean and well organized. Parking in front was easy to get in and out of, and overall it was a very good dining experience.

This store is fairly new and the same owner also has stores in Noblesville, Fishers, and 1 more place I just forgot, haha. I wish more of these Jersey Mike's would pop up around town, and my small town of Shelbyville, hint hint.

VERY RUDE EMPLOYEES. Especially the cashier. Never been here before today and will not be back, ever! Nobody acknowledged me after standing there for 2 minutes so I asked the cashier "do I start my order here or wait there?" She acts like someone punched her and throws her body back saying "what" with a very rude look on her face. So I repeat myself and she says over there. Finally the lady cutting meat takes my order, i go back to pay, during the entire transaction the cashier is rude 😒 I have never met this girl before and this whole interaction is uncalled for. Get my receipt and drink and sit at the table waiting for my order. I hear my name and go to get my food. She tries to hand me a bag with 2 subs in it I tell her thats not mine I thought I heard my name but I didn't order this. Cashier "HUH".. me: I thought I heard my name but this isn't mine. The other lady that made my sub says. didn't you have 2? I said no only one. She asks, what did you order? I tell her a number 17. So she reaches in the bag and hands me mine. Cashier whole time is looking at me like I killed her cat or something.. food is good but for something they just made it isn't hot! I would give a 0 star...

I'm a long time patron of this location; however, lately the level of customer service has been subpar. I stopped frequenting this location when they messed up my order. Yet after 3 weeks of not ordering I decided to give it anothet try. I regret my decision. I ordered the #7 Turkey sub because all other options include pork, which I don't eat. What did I receive? Undercook Roast beef sandwich with bacon? ! I called the location and spoke with Ms. Angela who has superb customer service whom later refunded my order. Nevertheless, the man that took my order over the phone hung up on me before I could complete my order and mixed it up with someone else's. This is the 2nd time this person had messed up my order.
