Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in South Carolina

DO NOT BUY HERE - Service and management is embarrassing. I have had two issues with this location in the past month. The first issue was with a pizza I ordered for delivery towards the beginning of March. Baked in to several slices was a long, dark hair. Couldn't eat after that. The management offered a refund and a free pizza credit. Seeing as how they were fair about that, I decided to order from them again (after I had redeemed the free pizza credit). This second time, my pizza came and looked fine. However, the last bite/area before you got to the crust had an absolutely rancid taste to it. It was a very strong spoiled, fishy taste. Made me vomit. I contacted the manager and was told he could not issue a refund but would call me back the next day after he contacted finance. No call back. A few days later, I tweeted about the experience and was quickly contacted by Papa Johns twitter account and was instructed to fill out an incident form. I told of both incidents (still hadn't received a refund on the 1st issue with hair). A few days later, I was contacted by their corporate office in Charleston and was issued a refund for the first issue with the hair, but not for the order which tasted rancid/spoiled. The rep at corporate told me I would be contacted by the regional manager so I could talk to her about the second order. A week went by and I had not received a call from anyone so I called corporate and spoke with their customer service. The rep there got me in contact with the regional manager, Chris. I explained the situation and she told me she would contact corporate/finance so I could be refunded. Another week went by and no one contacted me about the refund. I called corporate myself and was told their system was down and they could not issue the refund so they would call me when it was back up. Another week went by and still no call. I contacted Chris again and she apologized and said she would call them once more so I could finally get this resolved. Once again, it has now been almost a week and I never heard back from anyone. It seems I will never get my refund.

Although I love Papa Johns Pizza and have had close to 40 orders over the past 3 years from different Columbia area locations, I will never patronize their establishments again. The management and service are an embarrassment to other restaurants in the area. Apparently customer service is extremely lacking with this company at both the local and corporate level. Disappointed is an understatement.

Feb 28 / March 1 Ordered pizza at 10:30pm (February 28th) I was getting off work after a long shift and being up since 6am. All I wanted was a pizza from my favorite pizza place. I was notified that the pizza was delivered. Once I realized the pizza was indeed not delivered at 11:45, I called. I was put on hold for 5 minutes. So I decided to hang up and call again. They continued to ignore my call until I showed up to their store at 12:13am. The manager was in the office, ignoring my call. We knocked, told him our situation, and he called his delivery guy. He came out and told me he was out my house. So I called my roommate to assure it was there. It was. I tried to have a conversation with the manager. He continued to interrupt me, have a rude tone, and roll his eyes at me. Finally I just asked for his name and left. This could of been handled so easily by him simply answering the phone. This could of been handled by him having adequate customer service when I arrived at his store. I was offered no compensation, no apology, and no explanation. I'm here to review the Papadia, chicken, brownies, I haven't had the pizza, calzones and the other items in the menu for a long time.. so with that said... I used to order PJ Pizza at the beginning of 2010's but they change the quality of food so the pizzas where 😫😩 🤮 bad and dry so 10+ years pass and i was bored with the other fast food pizza restaurant so I decided to try once again PJ but this time No Pizza (I know is ironic bc the Papadia is a folded pizza) but anyway I went with the Papadia and is much better that the pizza and i think bc the ingredients is hidden inside it makes it taste so much better and the price is amazing, this is my second time ordering it and with a little hesitation bc you know sometimes it happens that the first time you order something is good but the second time is not what you expected but with this it didn't happen it's was freshly made 🔥 🔥, with the boneless chicken they were ok, the chicken was tuff, last time they where on point 👉 ☝️ and the brownies 🤤🤤🤤😋😋 FUDGGY FUDGGY not cakelike, I would say PJ is stilling my heart back.. and the delivery...
