Meher Center is the ideal place (in America) to experience firsthand the “feel" of the Meher Baba community. Those with a genuine interest in learning more about Meher Baba or determining whether their interest in him is something more than “spiritual tourism" should schedule a visit for a few days. The comfortable, well maintained cabins are situated in a beautiful coastal forest, itself surrounded by the ever increasing development of the Myrtle Beach area, which seems not too be hampering the atmosphere.

Couples should be aware that only those who are married can share accommodations and singles may (depending on how full they are) get a roommate. This happened to me many times before I was married, but I always found my roommates to be pleasant (and usually, very interesting) people.

I was told about the retreat by my psychologist and decided to go there I did for about 3 or 4 days and really changed my life from the time I went through the front gate I met a very special person who I believe was for Baba's time it's a long story I won't bore you with it my time there was very spiritual a lot of fun I met some tremendous people overall is the most healing and comfortable place I have ever been, I'm very sick with a chronic lung disease and I'm planning on going back as soon as it gets warm enough I f you have anyting is bothering you or you need to work on that is certainly the place to go, plan ahead meet the people at the office that's important the r baba Library good to study him it's all good. I've been visiting the Center for well over 40 years. It's a gem almost hidden within the bustle of Myrtle Beach. It's an island of sanity and sanctity. Meher Baba's home in the West is suffused with his love which, over time, I have come to experience as boundless. And Baba's was the most Christ-like life of the 20th century that I know of.
