Two stars because I know they can do much better than this. Not sure if it was an off day, but we purchased from here yesterday (we purchase pretty regularly). We ordered a whole pie and it was awful. The crust was way too thin, there was next to no sauce and the cheese tasted cheap and processed. Good cheese creates good oil. The oil buds were nowhere in sight. Why the outrage and low rating? Because we’ve eaten here plenty of times before and the pizza never tasted like this. In fact, I had rated it pretty highly in being one of the closest places you’d find to being true NY pizza since they changed owners (from Aromas). We’ll take that back because consistency is a large part of what we do back home. You can’t be inconsistent; you won’t survive. I know all restaurants are struggling in the wake of ridiculous food prices while trying to manage customers’ expectations on price and value. But completely sacrificing quality will never bode well and may cost you more than just raising prices a bit. It will be a while before I try this again because this was the absolute worst pizza I’ve ever tasted and I need a while to recover. It may have well been a French bread pizza, but who knows, that may even be an insult to the French bread. Not sure what changed, but I hope you guys get back to where you started.

EDIT: No amount of driving in any temprature will make butter unmelt and retract itself from the bread from which it was melted into, back to a giant glob on the surface of the bread. When butter is melted it is absorbed INTO the bread. If your pizza can withstand the drive it would seem to reason that other items should and could as well. The problem is coming from your store not my drive. Next time try taking responsibility for the problem instead of insinuating the customer doesn't know what they are talking about and is in the wrong. Used to be our favorite place because it's on the way home to Conway from my job in Murrell's inlet, could call in our order and pick it up fast. But the last 2 times have been a huge disappoinment. Got our pizza wrong last time and the wings were ice cold (usually with the drive home they cool down a bit but still warm and edible) this time we tried the garlic bread with our order and what a waste of money. I took one bite and it was cold. The "melted cheese" was hard and the butter was not even melted or spread on the bread, just piled on in giant unmelted globs It looked like it was microwaved hours ago, not toasted at all. I don't know what's going on but the quality has gone down substantially.

We just moved here about a month ago and were very eager to try Aromas everyone has recommended. I ordered two large pizzas, one pepperoni and one with onions, mushrooms, bacon and pepperoni. I also ordered garlic parm wings. The pizza was extremely thin, so thin that the toppings were soaking down into the box. My pizza with multiple toppings only had bacon on it. No mushrooms, onions or pepperoni, which I paid extra for. On top of that the bacon looked like it had been thrown on the pizza by someone who didn't care. Half my pizza was bare while two or three pieces had so much bacon we were picking it off and putting it on the bare slices. The only reason I gave two stars was because the chicken wings were decent. I was worried about spending $50+ on two pizzas and ten wings and now my anxiety was confirmed. You can get a better pizza at a chain like papa John's or domino's. All in all, we were very let down. we won't be back.

This is a deeply disappointing follow-up to my original 5-star review. We have been loyal customers of Roma from day one, faithfully ordering and recommending them to countless others. Unfortunately, the decline in quality and complete disregard for customer requests has reached an unacceptable level.

The last two orders with specific instructions were outright ignored. I let the first incident slide, assuming it was an off night, but our most recent order was a blatant disregard for what we requested. We ordered before closing, picked up before closing, only to arrive home to find our pizza prepared incorrectly. When I immediately called, no one answered because they had closed and, unsurprisingly, their voicemail was full.

The following day, when I called to calmly explain the situation, I asked for the manager and was met instead with hostility and rudeness. Rather than listening, I was yelled at: “There’s nothing we can do now. You should have called first thing!” I explained that I was at work and unable to do so, yet they repeated themselves like a broken record: “There is nothing we can do, there is nothing we can do.”

The dismissive attitude, lack of accountability and sheer unprofessionalism were appalling. For a business that we supported regularly, this behavior is not only offensive but insulting. To be treated like this after years of loyalty is beyond comprehension.

If this is how Roma chooses to treat their long-time customers, then they’ve made it clear where their values lie. I will never order from them again and I will make sure my referrals reflect the reality: the food quality has plummeted, the staff is rude and management is nothing short of bullying. Save yourself the disappointment and take your...

If you’re anywhere near this place and craving pizza, stop what you’re doing and go — seriously, this spot blew me away.

We ordered the Supreme, Pepperoni, and Carolina Shrimp pizzas, and each one was a masterpiece in its own right. The Supreme was loaded to perfection — every bite had the right balance of meat, veggies, and melty cheese, all on a crust that was just the right kind of crispy. The Pepperoni was a classic done right — generous, crispy-edged pepperoni with that irresistible, slightly spicy kick. But the real surprise was the Carolina Shrimp pizza — wow. A flavor bomb with buttery shrimp, a hint of coastal spice, and fresh ingredients that made it totally unforgettable.

And let’s talk about the Honey BBQ Wings… easily the best I’ve ever had. Sticky, smoky, sweet, and tender — they were fall-off-the-bone good and had that addictive tang that makes you want to order another round immediately.

To top it off, we got the Antipasto Salad, and even that was impressive. Fresh, crisp veggies, savory meats, and perfectly tangy dressing — a great way to balance out the feast.

Service was quick and super friendly, and everything came out hot and fresh. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this place is a must. I’ll be dreaming about those wings and shrimp pizza until...
