Disappointed that I have to change my review but after today’s experience, I will not be back.
On June 12th, around 2-3, we came here. I ordered a strawberry chicken salad with no croutons which was registered on the receipt. My mom also ordered a Greek chicken salad. When the food was ready, there were croutons. I have a bread allergy and so obviously I went back to the window. My mom’s salad was also a side salad when she ordered a whole. The lady seemed angered when I showed my receipt and the croutons in my salad and asked if I could “just pick them out.” I told her no, she sighed and rolled her eyes. My mom then showed her salad and the lady did not even apologize for the poor attention to detail and simply told us to take the salads out of her window.
My salad finally came out and it was right. However, my mom’s was still incorrect. Although the size was right, there was no chicken in it. My mom approached the window again and the lady, without turning around, sarcastically asked my mom if she looked for the chicken on the plate. Obviously there was none which my mom reported to her and she continued busying herself without approaching the window. My mom asked if they could cook some chicken and bring it to her. The lady answered in a sarcastic sing-song voice. They never announced when the chicken was in the window. My husband had to go up and wrapped in a napkin, was a small piece of chicken on a plate. Cold.
A manager never approached our table to apologize not only for the multiple mess ups that the kitchen made but for the customer service we received either. I find it baffling that a kitchen employee has the audacity to get angry at the consumer for bringing their own mistakes to their attention. If I wanted to “just pick the croutons out of the salad” I would not have ordered it without them.
Hopefully this arrogant kitchen employee receives additional training on how to speak to the public because the attitude she had today was unacceptable. I can understand feeling overwhelmed during lunch hour and messing an order up but to not even apologize and to then act like we were bothering her? Absolutely unacceptable.
I will no longer be supporting this establishment or recommending...
Read moreWent there to grab some lunch today on 7/31/2024 around 12:15 pm. Place was clean and and everything looked well stocked. The lady at the register was very nice to me and since I had never eaten there before recommended some items, I ended up going with the Sausage and Pepper Calzone and Broccoli Cheese Soup. Soup was good, the breadstick was painfully small, squishy and tasted underdone. The Broccoli Cheese Soup was decent nothing to right home about but edible. This is where things went downhill for me. The calzone is just their 10-Inch Pizza folded in half. My calzone had an abysmally small amount of sausage on it. So little in fact one whole half (they fold the pizza and cut it in half) did not have any sausage on it at all. Then I noticed that they had packaged my calzone with ranch and not marinara sauce. So I decided to call up there and see what had happened with my food order. The lady who answered the phone immediately gave me bad vibes she answered the phone in an aggressive and annoyed tone. So I told her that my calzone had no sausage and I didn't receive any marinara. She then became combative and basically told me that the calzones come with a pre-determined weighted amount of sausage and how it was folded and cut caused all the sausage to be on one side. She also said it was determined by their corporation why Ranch was the dipping sauce and not marinara. She said that I wasn't going to believe her anyway that it had the correct amount of sausage. I don't know she was just very off putting and didn't apologize once for the issues with my food. I think if your going to sell a calzone you should just let people know its not going to have marinara with and ask if they want to swap it for the ranch. Also if your going to make a sausage calzone you make sure there is sausage in every bite. She did offer me a refund begrudgingly or a remake but I had returned to work and could not leave again. Either way I will not be returning here again the food overall was not that great the bread was not that great everything about this place was below average. Except the girl at the cash register...
Read moreDon't expect any level of customer service or basic hospitality. I stood at the register for over 3mins after initially making eye contact with the cashier who never said a word to me--didn't greet me or welcome me in, didn't say she'd get to me in a minute--absolutely zero acknowledgement as she continued doing whatever she was doing and her best to completely ignore me. I thought maybe I wasn't supposed to pickup my order at the register so I walked over to the other window where another employee made eye contact with me but swiftly tried their best to ignore and not acknowledge my presence whatsoever as well. Once I asked him where I was supposed to go to be assisted he directed me back over to the same employee who stared at me and proceeded to ignore me for like 5 minutes. No words were exchanged as she rang me up. The franchise doesn't care either. The food used to be better which made up for the cost, but now it's not worth the headache, the wait, lack of atmosphere or basic human decency. Better off spending more at Jersey Mike's...
