East Pointe Plaza — Local services in Columbia

I have to give 5 stars for Southeastern Salvage if nothing else. This is one of my favorite stores in the whole region. I am constantly tripping over my chin whenever I go here. I'm always amazed at the high end design elements at discount prices. From furniture and linens to hardware, plumbing and tile with everything in between, there are very unique and stylish options for every part of your space. This however, is not the only great store in this plaza. Next door is Ollie's. This is another highly discounted department store that features not only decor and hardware, but also sundry items, books and toys. All at a great discount. The other site here that gets my attention is at the far end of the shopping center. It is a builder's warehouse type of store that has great deals to be had on things like floor coverings, windows and cabinets to name a few. These are 3 reasons to keep me coming back to this shopping plaza, everything else is just icing...

I think this is a fine place to bring a youth soccer or baseball team after the game. As a culinary experience Planet Pizza does not 'hit it out of the park'. The tomato sauce used for the pizza and hot dishes was as bland as a dry piece of white bread toast. The atmosphere was a cross between a Sports Bar and Chucky Cheese. Nice wide open aisles. Fair prices and wholesome looking veggies. Think they should use another Yogurt supplier since the Friendly Farms yogurt cups are about 2/3 full now for the same price. Some of the ad specials were unavailable. Once again, the customer ahead of me had produce under her cart that the cashier did not check. And the man relaxing at the exit door did not challenge it either-was too busy watching me with my one...
