Great place to jump and have fun. Certainly a great addition to Columbia and Garners Ferry. Being located right off Garners ferry its an excellent way to go and unwind. I've gone twice and here's what I think.
Pros: Excellent staff and Facility for kids and Parents. I found tons of areas where kids were having a blast, whether its the trampolines or the dodgeball area.
Well worth the price and great location. I went opening day and found plenty of parking and half off specials. I jumped for 2 and half hours and loved most of it. I took in 30 minutes of VR and loved every second of it. You have to try this out.
VR was a blast and 3 minutes demos are a wonderful way to introduce you to the experience before you go and buy Playtime. I got 30 minutes of play time for $15 dollars and found it to be the most alluring feature they offer besides trampolines. I have gone back twice after work and never regretted the money spent. I would love some kind of play card or VR special for repeat users.
Cons: Lack of signs and Visual instructions was kind of a bummer. In the hours that I jumped, starting only 5 minutes after arriving, I got the whistle blown at me 3 times for running in areas where running wasn't allowed. Its one of those rules I would gladly follow if I knew it was there. Where its ok to run, not ok to run, where only one jumper is allowed at a time, that sort of thing would be a great thing to have instead of repeatedly getting told not to do so in each area.
No discernible areas for Adults and Older children. I found so many exciting areas to try out but found them overrun with little kids. I'd find myself thinking, "Oh wow! A dodgeball area.... Oh wait... there's only 8 year olds there and no chance to play with anyone my age. Best to avoid that." "Cool! A sparring blalance zone. Oh no... I don't wanna spar with younger kids and seem like some kind of fiend.". Mind you, I did go during the afternoon so this might be temporary complaint once I see what the night time experience is. A teens and Adult jump night would be a great solution if they don't already have it.
More adult themed areas that are labeled and enforced to be as such would be great. Once again to the younger children issue, I found almost getting pushed out of areas because of kids. It made the two hours of jump time was almost a chore to give the children the right away and ability to enjoy themselves. It got so bad that I just decided to head to VR. I enjoyed VR so much because it was almost my space and I couldn't be pushed out of it by kids. Once I pay for time there I wouldn't find myself having to share or relocate because children were jumping into my path or getting on all sides of me. As a 25 year old male, solo jumper, I'd like to not leave an area as to avoid whistles blown and parents giving me glares. I wanna feel like I can enjoy myself and not be int be way in the way of young children trying...
Read moreI was called out for "breaking the rules" after a little boy jumped on my trampoline and the employee was yelling at me to get off the trampoline and "only one at a time", which i understand but i thought he was talking to the little boy since he was the one who got on my trampoline. After i realized he was talking to me i got off and he told me that i needed to get out of the super bouncy trampoline area which i then told him what happened and then he completely ignored me and again told me to get out of the area. At this point i was aggravated and told him '' I paid to be here, and i haven't done anything" i then started to jump back in the area as he called up his manager. The manager came to the area and told me to come talk to him. He said that i had been not listening to his employee and said next time i did something like that i would be sit down. i didn't argue and just kept jumping with my friends. After about 10 minutes we moved to the wipeout zone and i went to get water. When i was done they were jumping in the wipeout activity and i watched and laughed from the outside. Suddenly i felt someone tap my shoulder it was one of the workers who must have been higher in ranking then the other employees since he was wearing a different color shirt. He took about two steps back and sternly told to come here i stepped forward about a foot and a half and front of him. That must have not been good enough he then looked at me pointed his finger at me than the ground and almost yelled at me to come here like he my was father. He said about the same thing that the manager had said, but this time said i would be kicked out if i didn't listen. I thought he was done until he suddenly asked me what my name was. I starred at him blankly not wanting to be rude by just saying no. He than asked a little louder "What's your name!" i said i didn't see why he would need it which he replied In a stern loud voice "What's your name!!!!" I didn't respond and he said fine you just have to sit out until i answer. I eventually told him and went on my way. 30 minutes later three employees who were off the clock one of them still in uniform were all jumping on the same trampoline attempting to double bounce each other i told that wasn't allowed and i kid you not their response was " We do not have to follow those rules we work here" S.M.H other than the...
Read moreI’m not one to leave “bad,” reviews. I prefer to leave five stars and good feedback. However, I left this trampoline park today completely blown away from the lack of customer service, care and attention given to those that book private birthday parties. My sister planned my nephew/god sons 6th birthday party here and planned for a stress free, fun party for all - which is exactly what they advertise. The promised “dedicated party host,” was unseen throughout the entire party. The pizza was ordered from Marcos pizza (a local franchise pizza shop) and wasn’t served at the expected time. The utensils provided wasn’t even enough for the entire party and when going to the concessions counter, no one was to be found to assist. I found myself and my sister serving the party, cleaning up on behalf of the “dedicated party host,” while having to go behind the concession counter to get forks, napkins, etc while literally no associate was in sight. To top it all off, when my baby sister went to ask for management to submit her complaint (and y’all, she is the most non argumentative person I’ve ever met) - the person that assisted her admitted that she was “our dedicated party host.” She continued to spark an attitude and argue while saying we should have “asked,” for the services detailed in the reservation agreement and even asked us to pull up the agreement to show where it stated that we were guaranteed a party host. Meanwhile, she wouldn’t get a manager to assist us until we demanded it for a third time. There was apparently no manager on duty and the representative that did eventually help us started the conversation with a bad attitude yet ended it with a somewhat positive outlook - even though she made it clear that she could do nothing to help the situation as she has “no authority.” A follow up is expected on Monday (as promised from the associate with no authority) from a general manager and I have zero hopes towards a professional conversation resulting in a realistic solution to what we experienced, especially considering what we faced on the...
