I usually grab Taco Bell a couple times a month as a cheat meal. This location on Pleasantburg, though, gave me one of the wildest, most frustrating experiences I’ve ever had at a fast food spot.

Five months ago, I came in during my lunch break and asked for a water cup. A young girl behind the counter filled it up in the back and handed it to me. I took a sip, sat down, and decided I wanted a Baja Blast, so I placed another order—nothing unusual about that.

A few seconds later, she comes out and tosses a large Baja Blast cup at me, saying, “Yeah, I knew you were gonna steal soda—that’s why I filled it up for you.” I’m sitting there stunned. I hadn’t stolen anything, hadn’t even touched the soda machine, and now I’m getting accused in front of everybody for no reason?

I sat at the table trying to wrap my head around what just happened. Then I realized the person who ordered right after me already got their food. Then someone else who came in ten minutes after the incident got theirs, too. That’s when it hit me—am I seriously being punished for this nonsense?

So I finally go up to the counter and ask, “Hey, I’m Hunter, I placed my order a while ago—has it come out yet?” One of the other employees looked confused and called a manager over. The manager was apologetic, realized the order hadn’t even been made, and offered me a refund.

But here’s the kicker—when she asked about my order, that same young girl who accused me loudly said, “Oh yeah, that’s fine. He can wait.” Wouldn’t even come to the counter. Just stayed in the back mouthing off like it was all a joke.

Filed a complaint that night. Taco Bell said they’d get back to me. They never did. I haven’t been back since—until tonight.

I pulled up around 10 p.m. (they close at 1), and saw four employees out back smoking. They headed in and took my order. The food was actually solid—pics attached—but I couldn’t stop thinking: did one of them just go straight from a smoke break to prepping my food without washing their hands?

Two stars. One for the food, one for the manager who tried to do the right thing. The rest of the experience? A complete joke. And that girl? If she’s still working there,...

It's a good Taco Bell and the prepared the food really well! The only thing is unfortunately the service. I understand there were only two people working at Taco Bell on the day I went and I feel sorry for their situation. I hope they don't get slammed with extreme unexpected service because they're hard workers and they're already overextending themselves.

That being said, I wish the situation for the restaurant was better. There were tables left not cleaned when I went in and had to search for a clear table. Everything with the drinks and sauces were well organized and categorized. The only real option for ordering here was through the screens at the front. Very convenient but shouldn't be the only method for ordering. If someone has cash the tablets at the front aren't as convenient as talking to a person.

Regardless, I had a really good budget friendly meal here despite the atmosphere. It was all tasty and I was able to get a lot of my favorite Diablo sauces! I hope the two workers are getting compensation for how hard they work. There was only one on cooking and one on...

If only I could give negative stars... I realize they may have been under staffed today or had some other issues, but the service was poor on top of wait for our order. We ordered at 12:49 pm, and our food arrived at 1:35 pm. By the time we got everything we ordered, it was over 45 minutes later. The order was incomplete, and when I went back to the counter for the missing item, the manager asked for my receipt. I I gave him my receipt, and he was at the grill working on other orders. When I asked for my receipt back, I was informed that he had thrown it in the trash. When I asked again to have it back, he simply kept calling me "sir" and telling me that he could not help me, as he was working on other orders. When I told him that I intended to file a complaint and asked his name, he refused to give me his name. The food was not prepared well, my taco was largely empty, the service was poor...there's unfortunately nothing positive I can add about our experience here today. I don't think we'll...

I’ll start by saying the food was really good compared to most Taco Bell’s. It was fresh and delicious. However, I had ordered 1 chicken Chalupa supreme and 2 crunchy tacos. When I received my order it was correct in the bag. Unfortunately when arriving home I realized I was charged for 2 chicken chalupas not 1. At this point I’m not driving back for $5 It’s just highly disappointing this happened. I should have checked the receipt ahead of time before leaving. I can say after this kind of experience I’m not going to want to to Taco Bell anytime soon.
