TASTY WINGS & SEAFOOD — Restaurant in South Carolina

Service is quick, employees are nice, food is good and plus, it's not a major food chain which sometimes you have to get away from and enjoy small businesses.

Edit: Jan 2nd 2023 Left home and drove 20min to get some good wings. Ordered 2 10 piece wing combos and was ready to eat. When our number was called, went and got the food then went to the table. This is where it went wrong for the restaurant and right for us. I went to the restroom and thought, let me put some seasoning on my food. Went to open both containers and moved the top few wings to uncover the restaurant's secret. We ordered a total of 20 chicken wings and got 4-5 chicken wings and the rest were chickadee wings. The things was so small, a baby could have took one bite and been finished with one. I proceeded to ask the male employee about the wings and he act like he didn't speak English and didn't want to help. I then asked the lady at the register was the manager there and she said no. So I asked her about the wings and she blamed it on the supplier instead of asking what would we like to do to make us happy or compensate with anything at all. I asked her could we get a refund and she had a problem with that. I asked her again and she asked for the receipt which I handed to her but, she snatched the receipt. I said you don't have to be rude, I just asked for a refund. She then even referred to us having drinks with the combo. I said, no problem, you can have those back. We are not trying to cause any trouble at all. She then handed me the receipt of the stopped transaction...

I rarely write reviews but I had to share my bad experience. First red flag, nobody ever answers the phone. Called and called until I finally got through to politely explain my messed up order. There was a slight communication barrier so I decided to drive back down to the restaurant. I ordered whiting fish but several people tasted it and it clearly was not Whiting. I explained to JIMMY ZIN that this is not what I ordered or expected. I did not want my order redone just my money back. 2 pc whiting and a side was $8.85 but JIMMY ZIN only offered me $2 as compensation. If he would of said mam I'm so sorry and I will refund you for the fish I would if been partially satisfied. Sad part is I ordered online and gave a TIP. Trying to help support new businesses... On a positive note my son said the wings was tasty. The organization and customer service was not the greatest but can be improved. Have someone to man the phones... Hire an assistant manager to help deal with the customers. Customers and especially repeat customers is what keeps a business going. I can't recommend a business to potential customers if I had a bad experience. JIMMY KIN I pray that your customer interaction improves but I sadly will not be returning...

The name is deceiving - it is not that tasty. :/ The food was okay. Nothing that I would come back for because I had to have it again. It’s nothing special. Definitely overpriced just because it’s seafood anddddd on Killian.

I had a fish sandwich, fries, egg rolls and coleslaw. But don’t order the egg roll or coleslaw. The egg rolls were frozen so they were a fried, mushy mess in the inside and the coleslaw is a creamy mess with no taste. I’m a huge coleslaw fan and this was one of the worst I have ever had. I had catfish and it was good. The fries were just bites and pieces - the ‘nubs’ (bottom of the bag) -as I refer to them. They do come plain - without any salt. You have to season them yourself. (Definitely take note of this if you are ordering Doordash or anything food delivery).

Overall, it was alright. I won’t be back. There was nothing special, unique about this food or the flavor. The only thing that was good was the overpriced fish sandwich - but not even that is enough for me...
