The Original Geno's Pizza — Restaurant in South Carolina

My son and I go to this place every time we go to the beach. Most of the time it's only once per year. But anytime we are there.This is our number one food destination. The ladies that run the place are nothing less than phenomenal and honestly care about your experience at their restaurant. It won't break the bank, and The pizza is the best new york style pizza within a hundred miles hands down, to the point we can't stop eating the pizza and haven't even tried anything else. That is our goal for the next visit. My son, Who prides himself as the next Dave Portnoy, Swears that there will never be another pizza that he will love as much as what he gets from Geno's Myrtle Beach, he calls it a 10 out of 10. Even though i remind him that Portnoy does not award 10s. This is an absolutely wonderful establishment, absolutely amazing food and and the best hospitality and care from a staff that you can possibly yet in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.. If you are traveling here then it is a must to at least give this place a try because I promise you'll go back. And a special thank you to both of the ladies who made my son want to return to this place every time we go back because he loves your food and his experience at Genos. Don't know the names but these are two very hard working and exceptional ladies. We went this past weekend and have had pizza twice since. And all I hear when we go somewhere else is, "Dad, this place suck compared to Geno's". "Dad since it's gonna take us 3 hrs in town can we just drive to the beach and get Geno's." If you haven't you absolutely should. You have to go just once, you will be hooked. My First time through the door on what was not a very good day for me, Lauren greeted me like we'd been friends for years. She was genuinely a nice person, very pleasant and kind. And that was exactly what you needed that turned my day around. She recommended the white pizza and definitely the fries. So I ordered them both. I must say She nailed it on both counts for sure. Couldn't leave without a salad so I ordered the Caprese Salad as well. Best one on the beach. I Had to drive a ways to get home but the fries were still crispy, the pizza was on point, mouthwatering delicious. The Caprese salad was by far the biggest with the boldest flavors I've ever been served here at the beach. the fresh mozzarella was perfect and it completely covered the tomatoes, that tasted like they'd just been picked with the balsamic glaze..OMG and the perfect ratio.. outstanding. My compliments to the chef. You could tell they all cared about your experience and took pride in what they did. Maddie was super sweet, and made me feel right at home. People just don't do that anymore, so that was nice. As soon as you walk through the door it feels cozy, everyone smiling it was just a nice experience. I ordered 3 times asking if they could put extra sauce . Its the dryest pizza i. Town. The girl and I mean girl at the counter. It's sometimes rude or unprofessional to say the least she wanted to charge me four dollars for Extra sauce. When I ordered 3 times prior and asked for exercise it was still super dry.. Like they do and on purpose if they would not skimp on the sauce. Nobody would have to ask for ex sauce. Plus she did not even inform me that she was going to charge me for extra Is sauce. So I just ordered from a j's pizza instead of 30.00 dollars that original geno wanted to charge me for a medium 3 topping ,AJ's pozza charged me 16. And it was a large.. when i told the girl art Genos i didn't want the pizza she got a little snotty I also read other reviews where they say that She is unprofessional and I have to agree. Doesn't seem like they care about the customers which is sad because the older than I used to Really take care of the customers..
