I'd give less if possible, but 1 gets you on the page.
So here goes........
This has to be the worst experience I've ever encountered from McDonald's.
It's a shame too.
We ordered from the app, paid and went inside to pickup the food. After standing in the lobby waiting for around 45 minutes or so, an employee asked what we were waiting on. We told her, & she went to try to find the order, but nope, nothing. Ok..... so I figured no big deal, they'll just have us show them proof of (a)the email, (b)app or (c)receipt . That is not how it went down. We were told that we could re-order and pay again , and only then would we be able to get any food. When we asked to speak with the manager, she promptly informed us she is the General Manager. I understand computer glitches and things happen, but the GM's attitude totally put me off. We didn't get any resolution for this trouble so we exited the restaurant to make a phone call to the corporate office. Still unable to get this resolved, and they'll have to call to speak with the franchise owner regarding this issue. We were once again told that we would have to go back and order and repay the $30 that has already processed out of our bank. Realistic expectations for this situation was easy, they look at the order on the email with confirmation and we would have been very happy. We left empty handed and still out $30 from the previous in app purchase. We went home, the franchise owner called us promptly afterward. He was still defending the GM's decision made that she was correct in telling us to reorder and pay again. He started getting really rude and proceeded to say that he will NOT be helping us.
Frustrated and hungry after a long day, and now having to figure out an alternative plan for dinner.
We ended up having to cancel the order and dispute it with our financial institution to get our money back.
I'd be hard pressed to o back to any location that is owned by this franchise operator.
My boyfriend told them..... about their slogan "Bah da bah bah bah, I'm NOT lovin' it."
.......PLEASE DO BETTER MCDONALD'S!! It's a shame to have to report this situation and not be able to say we had any kind of customer service offered to us, except for the corporate office lady on the...
Read moreThis McDonald’s is a standalone location in the South Ridge Shopping Center parking lot. It’s a fairly large building with a clean, modern exterior and updated signage. Inside, the restaurant features a good-sized dining area with a mix of seating styles — from high-top stools and traditional booths to comfortable, padded armchairs with a fun striped design that added a touch of style to the space.
One standout feature is the indoor kids’ play area, which is quite large — a rare sight these days, especially post-COVID. It’s a great bonus for families and adds value to the location.
The cleanliness was acceptable overall, though it could’ve used a bit more attention in a few areas. What really hurt the atmosphere rating, however, was the employees standing right outside the entrance smoking as I arrived. This is a huge turnoff — it feels unprofessional and unhygienic, and it immediately leaves a negative first impression. If not for that, I would’ve rated the atmosphere a 4 out of 5.
🙋♂️ Service: 4 out of 5
Service was better than expected. I had an issue using my McDonald’s app to redeem a free iced caramel coffee. One of the employees noticed I was having trouble, stepped in to help, and after trying to resolve it, simply gave me the coffee for free. She was friendly, helpful, and understanding — it’s always nice when a team member goes out of their way to assist a customer, even if the issue is with the app and not the store.
🍔 Food: 3 out of 5
I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese McMuffin and a large iced caramel coffee. The McMuffin was decent — warm, with a good balance of flavor. Pretty standard but satisfying. Unfortunately, the coffee was way too sweet — so overpowering that I couldn’t even finish it. That knocked the food rating down for me.

✅ Would I return? Sure — it’s a decent McDonald’s that offers the basics with a bit more style than average, especially for families with young kids. But I really hope McDonald’s — and fast food places in general — start enforcing better standards about employee visibility during smoke breaks. It really impacts the...
Read moreI went to the store. I ordered a kids meal with a cheeseburger with extra fries instead of the apple slices and two cheeseburgers with two ice cream cones and then all of a sudden I get home I look in the bag and there is a fry and it was cold to the touch with two cheeseburgers. I didn’t get a drink which I didn’t order one and all of a sudden I call them and they’re rude at the window and then they’re rude on the phone. The ladies telling me to return the food when the order was completely messed up on only one item and when I looked at the receipt, it is now saying that I ordered a corner cheeseburger deluxe meal with a large Diet Coke and that I did not order that if you looked at the other picture I am I had it with the receipt. It only shows I had two sandwiches and a fry with no drink. And the kid at the window kept messing up my order even when I drove up and had him at the window face-to-face he still messed it up but warning I want to go to this McDonald’s ever again due to the fact that they do not trust you enough to even when you go back and tell them they messed it up. They want you to come back to the store ASAP And waste your gas over the fact that you didn’t even get the large Diet Coke and in the very beginning, you didn’t order any meal you ordered two cheeseburgers warning do not go to this McDonald’s. They don’t care if they mess up. And I would’ve gave...
