TLDR: Rude customer service, closing before posted times, mediocre food, will not be coming back or recommending.
Oh where to start. The gentleman taking our order was patient and friendly enough even though he seemed confused that we didn't know what all the options were to put on our sandwiches. It was our first time there and we were still figuring out the menu. We then get to the cashier who seems visibly irritated that we are there and that she is working. We didn't know about the fries or fresh lemonade until we got to the cashier because that's where the displays are, so we asked to add fries to the order. She throws her hands up and stomps off in a fit because she has to now drop another order, which really made us feel great. I asked to switch one of our fountain beverages to a lemonade, and again this seems like the biggest inconvenience that she has ever experienced. I'm not always expecting a smile and for someone to acknowledge me as even a paying customer in this after covid-age, but I don't appreciate feeling like our business is so unwelcome for whatever reason there was. We were polite and friendly and only got angst and attitude in return. Then we get our order and try to sit down to eat, and after unpacking our food at the table, we are told that the dining room is closed. It is 9:20pm at this point, and online and on their physical front door it says they close at 10pm. I ask if they close the dining room early so we know in the future and she says it closes when they close at 9:30. Not only is this time different than advertised, but it wasn't even 9:30 yet. We would have been happy to eat and be out by this new closing time, especially since we arrived 50 minutes before thier posted closing time. Finally the food was so mediocre that it in no way could even slightly overshadow the rudeness and attitude that we experienced from some of the staff. I shouldn't be made to feel bad for spending my money at a business, and will for certain, never be wasting...
Read moreThis location is an absolute joke! I went in there about 10 minutes before closing time and I wanted to pick up my call ahead and order so I go to the counter they give me my sandwich I pay for it and then I get home...
Only to find out it's not even my sandwich and nothing even similar or close to it, but I'm hungry so I eat it anyway.
The next day I called to tell them about their screwup and any other restaurant would say "sorry about that let me make it up to you"
But definitely not this location they literally gave me such a hard time and try to make it sound like I was the one at fault, we're not checking my sandwich before I left.
I mean I'm sorry but I shouldn't have to double check their work.
So I got the runaround for about two months now and still have not gotten any results.
At first I was told to call back win the main manager is there so then I called back and was not able to speak with him.
Then I was told that I would get a phone call back from him and yet five days later nothing.
So I followed up again with another phone call.
I spoke to the rude girl who claimed that she was an assistant manager and told me that I would have to bring the sub in in order to get a replacement.
I mean even if I did have the sub weeks later I'm not bringing in or going to inconvenience myself for their mistake.
Finally the end result was she would mail me a replacement sub coupon.
Which to this day I still have not received and I have called back several times and they keep avoiding me I mean seriously guys get together with the program and maybe take a couple classes on customer service.
I will NEVER be back here to...
Read moreAbsolutely disgusting. My first and last time at this disgrace of a fast food establishment.
To start off with my terrific experience, ther young thug looking rasta guy at the register was extremely rude.. said he would be with me in "2 seconds" 4 different times which totaled to close to 5 minutes... Ok so I finally place an order. It's ok, everyone has a bad day once in a while, no big deal. Well this is where I drew the line and vowed never to return.
Mr. Rasta man taking the food orders and making the sandwiches was NOT WEARING ANY GLOVES THE WHOLE TIME!!! I straight up watched this dude scratch his crotch and continue on making the food like it was no big dea!!
OK, so whatever. Home boy didn't wear any gloves. Hopefully cooking whatever food I ordered in the oven will kill whatever bacteria is on the sandwich from him prepping and handling all my food with his nasty bare hands. But wait; it gets better....
The Clown(I THINK was the Manager) on the other side of the oven handling all the cash transactions proceeds to handle all the cash for myself and a few customers in front of me and then proceeds to FINISH MAKING MY SANDWICHES WITHOUT ANY GLOVES ON. This is clearly a violation of the Ohio Dept. of Health food handling protocol.
ABSOLUTELY HORRIFYING, WILL NEVER BE A PATRON OF PENN...
