I came here yesterday and had a horrible experience. Upon walking in, there were around 10 people in the store already who seemed very very upset, who had been waiting for their smoothies for a very long time. Many people complained, and yet they still were working very slow to make the smoothies. A lot of the workers were just on their phones or in the back doing nothing even when there were 20 angry people in the store waiting for their smoothies. I ordered my smoothie and had been waiting for a while when I realized everyone who ordered after me had gotten their smoothies and I still hadn’t. I finally went up and said something and then I got my smoothie. I had been sitting there waiting for my smoothie for an hour by the time I realized. Both my smoothie and my friends were watered down and did not taste right. I don’t know how it can be so hard and take so much time to make smoothies. If you don’t want to be there, then don’t work there. It’s ridiculous that after weeks of receiving the same complaints over and over again about the staff, this store still expects me to come back and pay 8 dollars for a smoothie that I can make better and faster at my house. I get that this is a very busy location, but either train your staff or hire more people. This store is a joke and I am honestly shocked, especially from a chain such as Pulp, that this store is still running the way it is. Read moreMy daughter & I come to this Pulp location nearly everyday. On 3 instances, I've had a bad experience with the Assistant Manager Asis. The first instance, she looked agitated because we were undecided on our smoothie selections & was rushing us. The second instance was I returned a smoothie because it tasted like water & milk and I wanted a replacement. She had a bad disposition about me returning the smooothie and stated I waited to long and maybe the smoothie melted because of the time I received it. My daughter had only been away from the store 15 minutes. Last night, I walked in the store 10 minutes before closing on March 2, 2022 & Asis told me for future reference, the store closes at 9 pm. I told her it wasn't 9 o'clock & I couldn't understand why she would say that to me. In addition, 5+ more customers came in after me & she didnt tell them for future reference the store closes at 9 pm. I was in disbelief that she had said that to me and I asked who I now know as Raniyah, what is the young lady's name & she wouldn't give it to me. For Ms.Raniyah, it is very unprofessional to wear scarves around your head if its not for religious beliefs & if a customer has a complaint, please assist them with the information. The staff doesn't wash their hands, they touch products without gloves, behind the counter is atrociously disgusting, plus three of the women were wearing either cross or open toe shoes. Plus the majority of the women o saw working when I went in had absolutely terrible attitudes, cursing about having to do their jobs and qhat not. Creating a very inhospitable environment. Services were beyond slow, took me over 30 mins to get a juice from juice bar. With the atmosphere if today's climate having entered the Era of pandemics and now the spread of monkeypox you'd think they'd be practicing waaaaaay better hygiene, and food saftey practices. Truly a terrible experience. The majority of the staff should be fired, definitely management. Whomever owns this franchise should be fined and this establishment should be closed until they get their act together, I feel bad lumping everyone of the employees in with my opinion, but you're only as strong as your weakest link... if I get sick, it'd be my own darn fault for not.juxt walking put before even ordering, but I choose to stick it out, but if I do get sick I most definitely will be on my Karen b.s. and definitely cause a stink with corporate as well as their immediate management.
