Let's Sea — Restaurant in South Gate

I was brought here by an LA native to show me the quality of Viet Cajun style seafood (Houston Tx style seafood) here in LA.

Let's Sea has some great seasoned seafood! I was really impressed, and my unbiased rating would put this place in my top 5 boiled seafood spots.

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars and this place isn't in my top 2 of all time was because of the andouille sausage and the potatoes. The sausage had the taste similar to the lower quality sausage you find at the grocery store. I thought the potatoes were initially undercooked, but the more I ate them, I felt like it was more of a fibrous texture, I had my date taste, and she confirmed, too.

Either way, this place was really good, and I will definitely come back to try it again. I didn't have any of the Thai food, but I lived in Thailand for a year, and the food reminded me of being back in Bangkok.

Regardless of how much I love their drunken chow mein, I have to say I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK.

I was walking in having craved my favorite dish for about 2 months, and the HOSTESS REMAINED ON HER PHONE when I was literally standing right in front of her and had told her twice I wanted to order to-go

Yet somehow she was able to see an elderly woman walking away from the register with food (SHE HAD JUST PURCHASED) and both the hostess and waitress ran to her yelling "stop!" as if she just stole the food!!

They let her go without an apology, hostess still walked around for about 3 minutes , and THEN proceeded to ask what I wanted AND IN A RUDE AND HURRIED TONE!!

NOT coming back again after this. Will be finding somewhere else to go eat.

Unprofessional restaurant. Bf ordered online, and went to pick the food up and they didn’t want to give him his food that was PAID for. The worker wanted to see his log in information before giving him the order. Bf showed the worker the order receipt with his name on it, but the worker made it a big deal that he had to be logged in the ordering account. Like wth that’s ridiculous. Food was already paid for and he showed him the receipt too on his phone and he still didn’t want to give him the food. Most places only ask for a name/receipt when you pick up an order, not anything else. What a weirdo. They rather make things complicated for someone and display bad customer service andddd keep a paying customers food!...
