Ivar's Seafood Bar — Restaurant in South Hill

There's a manager name Yas is very arguemetive ,rude ,and disrespectful. I reported her before in the past regarding her unprofessional disrespectful behavior. A few months ago, I was shorted $5.00 . I brought it to her attention and she gave me attitude. So her coworker checked the drawers and gave me my $5.00. So the next time I was there, I was speaking with another Ivars team member. They ask if I was going to use cash or card. I briefly mentioned the $5.00 incident, Yas "a manager" came around from the back and started being very disrespectful, telling me how I was wrong for the $5.00 and started going off on me. I did report her to the general manager. Between then and now, she would give me dirty looks which I just ignored. So today 9/3/23, I walked into Ivars (Puyallup,WA location) she greeted then she looked over and once again a dirty look. I asked her if I can ask her a question regarding salad options. She flat out told me she's not talking to me. The other workers was busy and she was the closest to me, or I would have ask someone else. Remind you I'm a paying customer. Moving forward, I made a comment about her rudeness. She began to be arguemetive and confrontational. I had it wit end with her. This time I went out of character and argue back with her. There was a big scene in the lobby. She told me to go sit down like i was a dog or a kid. I let her know I been coming to this Ivars since it been opened. Way before she started working there. I have a good rapport with all the employees except for Yas. If there was another Ivars close to me, I would definitely go there because of her rudeness. I spend at least over a $100 every month. I'm not rude or disrespectful. I know how hard it is dealing with customers. I make sure I be kind and respectful to people especially being a customer. This is insane how I have to put up with this. I'm tired and sick of this woman foolishness. Something needs to change. Once again I am...

OK so We were just at Ivars and got home from buying thru drive thru we waited for a while but we didnt care much since we know how good the food is I mean we have visited 4 times in the last month alone..and never had any kind of issues...

we order the clam chowder tanker and only receive 3 cracker bags but that still not the issue !! the problem was with the fish and chips !!

we order the 4 pc fish and chips and we got home their size where almost the same as the french fries ! and we been going to ivars for years never seen fish so small !! one of them was eve cut on half ...my husband was so upset about that is making me write this review ..

no we didn't take pictures cuz we were still very hungry and had just drove for long hours just to get home to this surprise Idk if this happens often to people that order from drive thru I will say we never doing this again

the store overall is amazing you guys costumer service is great and so is the food ! we are just upset at the size of the fish n chips we are not kidding when we said they were just 4...

Just went through the drive thru today. Employee at the speaker got to me as soon as I pulled up! I needed a second to look at the menu cause it has been awhile since I've been to an Ivar's. I forgot what it was called, I think it was the shellfish combo? Had scallops, shrimp, and I think little bits of prawn? I would verify with the restaurant by calling before asking.

The employee who charged my order at the window was friendly! Asked how my day was going and we chit chatted a bit! Food didn't come out too much later. Got home and the fries were still crispy which is impressive! I also ordered a side of corn bread, which I'll he honest, was sort of mid. Not the best, or the worst, but they did remember to include butter which was nice!

I grew up eating Ivar's as a kid, and this was honestly a great step back in time as I was in the area and didn't know what I wanted to eat. I would definitely come...
