I would give this place 0 stars if I could. The women that work here are NOT to be trusted. My family came here to get tamale's and my mother forgot her jacket on the chair in the restaurant. When we called to ask about the jacket A woman name Veseal or something of the sort came up with excuses saying she saw the jacket on the chair and a gentleman grabbed it and they couldn't access camera's so they needed to call a manager. When we called back once again she began to start another story of how a little girl grabbed the jacket and she didn't know or see anything about it. When we asked for her name she then began to yell how she was to busy to help us anymore and hung up on us. 20 minutes later we called again and they began saying a older woman brought the jacket back. I came to get the jacket and the another woman rudely gave it back to us without a word. Please do not trust these employee's. If you do tend to dine here often please hold on to every item you have because the workers will do their best at trying to steal it for themselves and come up with any lie possible to save themselves or each other. My grandmother comes here often and spends good money but after today we will NEVER be coming back. Hopefully the problems are with the employee's themselves and not the...
Read moreMy husband and I went to theT-Mobile store next door. I waited in the car and kept seeing people going in and out of this place. I assumed it was good if the traffic was heavy. We went in and the place was full. There was nowhere to sit. The facility is very small. There is about 8 tables with very little space in between tables. You order at the counter. They serve tamales, enchiladas, chile rellenos, tortas, menudo, barbacoa de birrego, caldo de rez, guaraches, and breakfast items such as bacon and egg, huevos rancheros, chilaquiles con huevo, huevo con chicharon. They serve coke products, along with Aguas frescas. Melon, jamaica, horchata, coffee, and tea. Plates are serves with rice and refried beans. We ordered the chilaquiles con huevo, and a bacon and egg plate. Both plates were delicious! The service wasn't all that great, but in thier defense it was super busy. Overall it was good. Not a place I would visit regularly, but what we ate was good and...
Read moreI’m not gonna lie this was extremely disappointing to revisit a part of my childhood and find out that it has been completely dismantled from a business perspective and the quality of the food has taken a dramatic fall off a cliff. The tamales were raw and undercooked, while also being extremely overpriced which is ridiculous because it defeats the purpose of tamales. The establishment itself is not clean Andy seating arrangement is updated to do it the rusty chairs and uneven tables. Being such a large table and I can’t in Houston please for tamales you think this place will offer a little bit more after years of service but there might have been a change of management your ownership because this is just a shadow of what it used to be. $15 for three tamales is ridiculous and I will not come back unless things take a significant change...
