Reflecting on my recent experiences at this establishment, I am reminded of a similar visit six years ago, which was marred by poor service and quality. Despite this, I decided to give the place another chance, hoping that time and the recent remodel of the store would have brought about positive changes. Unfortunately, my return was met with disappointment.
In my recent visits to this establishment, I've encountered a series of disappointing experiences that highlight significant issues in customer service and overall quality. During a previous visit, my order was misunderstood and deleted by a staff member, who seemed to misinterpret my request "and a plain hamburger" at the end of my order to mean that I wanted everything plain, even after telling him that's wrong and trying to order again, I ended up leaving. Hoping this was an isolated incident, I returned only to be greeted by a drive-thru attendant whose lack of enthusiasm could only be likened to that of a zombie.
This lackluster service continued when I was prematurely asked to pull around, generally indicating my food was not yet ready and I have to wait for it, yet to my surprise my order was already being brought out to my car even before I had fully parked. The food itself was subpar: the fries were soggy, the buns stale, and the cheese on my burger was not even slightly melted, even if the beef patties were juicy and fresh. Moreover, the fish sandwich was sloppily prepared, with an excessive amount of tartar sauce both inside and on the outside of the bun.
These experiences are reflective of a deeper issue within the company, particularly regarding employee morale and compensation. It seems there is a greater emphasis on maximizing performance while minimizing costs, which detrimentally affects the quality of service provided to customers. I believe a shift in focus towards improving employee culture and offering fair compensation is essential. This change would not only benefit the staff but would likely result in a noticeable improvement in customer service and product quality.
While I am open to discussing my experiences with the establishment in further detail, my rating will remain unchanged until I witness a consistent and significant improvement in customer service over a prolonged period. I will also update my review as I see more changes, whether positive or negative to the customer services and quality of the establishment. This stance is to ensure that my review remains with its low rating until such a time as this establishment changes their practices and provides the quality of service and food that made McDonald's famous in the...
Read moreFormer worker using someone else's account so I don't get recognized. I'd disclose when I left and how long it has been, but I seriously don't want these guys on my tail.
Working at this McDonald's was not a pleasant experience. They're desperate for workers, and will push and push the ones that they already have to get more hours. Getting hired here was legitimately easier than quitting. They pull out every single trick in the book to get you to stay of you try to quit.
Not everything here is as advertised. Quarter Pounders are not guaranteed to be fresh, as this restaurant heavily prioritizes making the food fast rather than making it good. They'd rather give a customer a 30 minute old Quarter Pounder than make the customer wait 1 extra minute. If an employee has a fever but few symptoms, it is common for the manager to tell them to go to the freezer before having their temperature checked. Yikes.
Actions speak louder than words, and no matter what they say, the health of the employees is not a top priority. If there's no one that can cover for you, you get to work that day no matter what.
Fortunately, some of the employees actually do care about the customers. Often those employees are yelled at for being slow/inefficient, even if they're doing a far better job.
The service feels shaky because people on service have to do 2-3 tasks at once. This is especially bad with the cashier, as they have to talk to 2 people at once, while also taking an order and counting out cash/swiping a card.
Employees that put their heart into the work quit before it's even been a year because of these circumstances. This store cannot regularly keep up with customer demands, and instead of doing smart moves such as restricting breakfast hours and not serving it all day (btw if you're getting breakfast food after 12 pm you may as well just go buy a lottery ticket because only the lord knows how long that food has been sitting there) they instead up employee hours, sometimes on the spot. No matter how often you show up early/on time, you never seem to leave on time. There's always "one last thing before you go" that takes you 10-15 minutes over the clock.
Also, did I mention this place pays 0 overtime? Going overtime offers no additional pay. If you make $10/hr, then anytime spent doing overtime will still only...
Read moreIf u go here u better go an hour before it hungry. Because every time you go to the counter there will be employees all over but they can't or won't even acknowledge your presence. There is always some idiot waiting for burgers at where they come out. Hello stupid you could of took my order then go your sandwichs would of been ready. Or hey at least turn your lazy ads around and acknowledge me by saying I'll be with you in a moment. How do you have a customer service business and not have one single employee with any customer service skills. I used to spend about $300 a month at McDonald's but now u spend $0.00 and never will again unless I get treated right and a bunch of free food. To say this McDonald's is bad isn't enough it's a total joke. It just goes t show the high level of stupidity of south Jordan residents that this place ever gets a single customer. As bad as the service is pales in comparison to the non-existant cleanliness of the entire restaurant. I've seen a cup and fries set spilled on a table and left for several days. The restroom is so bad and left for so long I wouldn't say it's dirty but I would say it's diseased. Please health department shut this place down before it kills people. There is one employee in particular that not only should be fired but drawn and quartered. Asusanna is her name. She constantly carries an attitude that makes both employees and customers feel uncomfortable. She speaks innapropriatly and causes arguments and scenes with both employees and customers. Several long term employees have transferred to other shifts to escape her harassment. Fire her please before she costs you a lawsuit. There is no reason anyone customer or employee should ever be subjected to her constant harassment. I purposely...
