Awful. A little see through wall in the McCafe is not sound proof. Employees yelling and screaming at each other can be heard in the dining room almost anytime you go into this location. Orders are frequently messed up despite utilizing the kiosk to place the order in the first place. Virtually no attention is given to the dining room or monitoring the front counter to ensure customers are being helped promptly. When you need someone they aren't there but employees will frequently gather at the counter being as loud as they are in the back. Just about every time I go into this location they are blasting music in the back that mixes with the music they are playing in the dining room and the employees are being extremely loud and unprofessional which makes for a terrible environment to just relax and eat. I have seen countless customers (including mothers with little kids just trying to get some chicken nuggets) politely point out that their order was wrong only to have someone yell at them or blame the customer for the mistake. When someone is ordering, saying "Is that it?" after every thing they order in a rude manner where you can tell the cashier isn't really paying attention and doesn't want to be there is annoying. I gave up on utilizing the drive thru because my order was wrong almost every time and then I am given an attitude when I have to drive back, park, wait in line to have it corrected. The worst thing I have seen at this location is almost an entire dining room filled with customers waiting for their orders to be corrected and the cashier yelling at everyone and just walking out of the location saying that they don't need this. This is on top of employees frequently wearing gloves but then handling money, touching everything and then handling food. I get that cannabis is legal now but it isn't a good look to have someone smoking a bowl in their work uniform right in front of the main window of the dining room or near the doors. I have low expectations for what to expect at a fast food establishment. I get that employees work hard and are underpaid. There are some employees at this location that are really great but they are vastly outnumbered by the other terrible employees. It's reasonable to have the correct order, warm food that doesn't taste old and an environment that is clean and quasi-professional to eat a meal in. PS. Don't tell me the ice cream machine is broken when I look over and you literally have a custom made sundae in a large soda cup on the counter near the cash register...
Read moreShameful. As a frequent McDonald's customer all over New England and NY, this is the ONLY franchise that as of 10.16. 21 is consistently locking customers out from entering, even for a packette of ketchup, despite doors labelled: "COME ON IN". Management is disloyal and untruthful to customers out of shear greed by operating basically as a 'food truck window service only' operation while lying that they "can't find enough workers to re-open counter service, restaurant or restrooms". Dishonest manager is taking advantage of COVID by refusing to re-open and causing needless inconvenience to literally hundreds of customers each day whom walk up to LOCKED doors, with NO sign stating why doors remain locked month after month. Shameful treatment to especially the eldery customers forcing them to burden other nearby business's restrooms, like Burger King and Panera Bread whom consistently remain open for business. Why is this operation allowed to claim themselves as a restaurant to the IRS and write-off certain expenses legally if they do not act as a restaurant for well over a year? The town selectman must call them in for a public hearing to address multiple poor business practices. NOT operating 24 hours as advertised either, another lie. Lighting shut-off during late night operations has led to me, a senior, observing illegal public urination by others in the shadow of food delivery door due to poor management practices based all in maximizing greedy profits. When I calmly and politely addressed my months of observations of legitimate concerns to the Manager, Crystal?, while seated in my car parked adjacent to same locked door, she ONLY responded angrily that I am parked in HER spot, and then harassed me by abusing the town's Police services. Police were respectful and sympathetic and were made aware of my complaints to manager's poor...
Read moreUnfortunately, late night at this location is hit or awful, awful miss. (Or fortunately, because no one should eat McDonald's at 1 a.m. but hey no one's perfect.) They used to say the McFlurry/ice cream machine was broken because they didn't want to use it, which I learned from other employees that that is a tactic often employed--the fact it was "broken" for 2 years (and only at night) was a giveaway; if not of employee apathy and deception then at the very least of management not giving a care. When the McFlurry machine was finally working the lady who worked there didn't even mix it, and when I asked her to she moved the spoon around in the ice cream once or twice and handed it to me. It was actually kinda funny if it weren't for the fact I had just spent money on a McFlurry but instead got vanilla ice cream with a heap of oreos on top and a blatant snub from the employee. Hey, I don't take it personally...it's a tough job later at night, people can be rude, I get it. I am surprised, though, that a McDonald's which gets decent traffic late night is apparently so overlooked by district and regional management. As for last night it took a legitimate 15 minutes to get crunchy nuggets and a straight-up cold burger. Gross. I better not die of some weird disease now. I was polite, but won't be going...
