My family and I were there from Folsom, Ca on 4/28/17 at around 9:00 pm. We spent about $150.00 on pizza, salads appetizers and beer. The pizza was good; the beer smelt like vomit, but worst of all when we were on our way out my 4 year old grandson went to run out the door behind another family member and ran straight in to a glass wall that he had mistaken for the door. He hit so hard that it sounded like someone had shot him. He fell straight back on to the floor and had a humongous knot on his forehead. My daughter-in-law reported it to the manager in charge and she said she didn't know what to do. While waiting we're trying to calm him down and see that this bump is purple and getting bigger, so we decide to leave to take him to the ER. So disappointed that this manager never came out to see if he was ok or file an incident report. Didn't even bother to stop us from leaving. We were a group on 10 in the party room. No one else in the building other than this couple that were on their way out behind us. The lady was really nice and advising to watch him closely or take him to the ER. This manager needs some serious training for this type of incidents. Wish I could load a picture of his forehead here. Disappointed...
Read moreThe family and I arrived at Round Table after what I assume was their lunch buffet rush. Though there were perhaps only four other guests in the restaurant, there were a plethora of dirty, unbussed tables, complete with pizza scraps scattered about like the remains of broken soldiers after a great battle. We steeled ourselves to the surrounding carnage and ordered from the counter before making our way to one of the remaining clean tables.
For our family of four, we enjoyed an order of Garlic Parmesan Twists and a large Pepperoni and Mushroom Pizza. As always, the food was served hot and the pizza crust in particular was perfect; crispy edges but soft in the center, without being doughy. I'm not sure what Round Table uses in its sauce, maybe crack, but it is addictive and unlike any other pizza joint; tangy and rich, with a perfect consistency.
The staff was pleasant but not overly engaging, their eyes glazed over and attention far away, no doubt mentally reliving the horrors of the recent lunch rush.
All in all, Round Table is one our favorite West Coast pizza chains and we will continue to frequent it...
Read moreWe showed up to an empty restaurant on Fathers Day around 4:30 PM. We were told we couldnt use the room in the back. Not sure why. The guy finally came back like 6-7 minutes later while a party of 50 of us where waiting to order. As the Head Coach of the soccer team, I was trying to order and the young man was EXTREMELY rude when taking my order. I ordered 11 large pizzas and 25 soft drinks. I tried using the rewards 15% off coupon and I have 0 clue if it went through because I never got the receipt nor did I get credit for the purchase on my RTP app. There are SOOOOOO many places in Tahoe to eat and we chose to give them our business and were thoroughly disappointed. We asked for the TV's to be turned on to keep kids enteratined and not a single tv was turned on. Pizza was super salty and undercooked. Nothing at all like our neighborhood RTP. I would never go in there again. We brought the ambiance as there was nothing else to do or watch besides eat this terrible,...
