Playa Bowls — Restaurant in South Miami

My first experience at Playa Bowls was truly outstanding, largely thanks to the incredible team. Roselin's knowledge and helpfulness made placing my initial order a breeze. When Luis noticed my indecision, his thoughtful offer of a sample of his favorite coconut base sealed the deal – I loved it! I ended up with the delicious Cocotella bowl and the Sweet Cream Cold Brew, both fantastic recommendations from Roselin.

The presentation of my bowl was beautiful, and the coffee was so good that I immediately went back to place a takeout order. That's when I met Sol and Nico. Sol's hospitality was exceptional; her attention to detail and positive attitude were truly impressive. She even went the extra mile to ensure my second bowl was perfect for later, meticulously separating all the ingredients so nothing would get mushy. Been a fan since the opening and before that at their New Jersey locations , but seriously regretting ever returning, yesterday morning I came into the shop to with my daughter and her friend, when placing our orders I had added Nutella to my daughters bowl, when given the bowls back there was no Nutella s my daughter went back up to the counter and told them they forgot. One of the workers grabbed my daughters bowl and threw it completely away. Soon after she prepared her a completely new bowl and was mimicking my daughter to her co worker. On top of that handed the bowl back and said “next time ask for it during the order” I was outraged by this and asked to speek with who ever was in charge and directed me to a phone number I can call and told me the workers name was Andrea. I got the electric mermaid and it was by far the best smoothie bowl I’ve had. My friends got açaí bowls that were equally as delicious. And they came with these adorable takeout bags! The line was long(because they are so popular) but it moved so fast. And I got my bowl in less than 10 minutes of ordering it. The fruit was fresh and the smoothie base was thick, smooth and flavorful. It was not watered down or melted at all. Compared to other smoothie bowl restaurants I’ve been to, the portions were huge and the price wasn’t bad at all. My friends had some modifications for their bowls and there were no mistakes. The inside was adorable, the atmosphere was great, and the workers were very inviting and looked happy to be there. I cannot wait to go back and try more items...
