I had a truly frustrating experience at this juice bar. I visited twice in a span of a few days, spending around $95 the first time and $50 the next, so I thought I was supporting a local business that I could rely on. The first two visits were fine, but after that, things went downhill quickly.
I spoke to one of the workers about their business hours, and she told me they close at 6 p.m. Later that same day, I placed an order for an açai bowl around 5:40 p.m. since I was just 10 minutes away, thinking it would be ready when I arrived. The website gave me a 5:55 p.m. pickup time, and I showed up at 5:50 p.m. to find the doors being locked. I asked the young lady if they were closed, and she confirmed that they were. When I explained that I had already paid for my order, she told me the kitchen closed at a certain time, and that I could take a picture and come back for a refund the next morning. I did exactly that, but things only got worse from there.
I left a voicemail that night with my number, and when I called the next day around 10 a.m., I spoke with someone named Kim, who assured me the owner would call me back. She didnât ask for any of my information, but I gave her my number anyway. Needless to say, I never got that call.
On day 3, I called again, and when the phone was answered, it felt like I was calling someone's personal phone rather than a business. After explaining the situation again, the person on the other end told me that it said my order had been picked up. I questioned them about the time it was supposedly picked up and explained I had video evidence showing they closed early. This clearly annoyed the employee, and she cut me off mid-sentence, telling me the refund would be processed. When I asked for her name, she just hung up on me.
This experience was incredibly frustrating, and the customer service was downright terrible. I will not be returning, and I strongly recommend others to avoid this place. Poor communication, unprofessional behavior, and a lack of accountability make it clear this business does not care about...
   Read moreThe location is in a great area. It's great to see a company that caters to vegetarian and healthy eating. But, the service leaves much to be desired. There were two people on staff. One young lady was there servicing upon arrival. Then a man walks in with his phone in hand , walks behind the counter and starts touching food with no gloves. He doesn't ask his coworker which customer was here first, but simply started taking the order of a young lady who had just walked in. He was not attentive to the ingredients I said were desired in my bowl. The young lady was very nice and even offered a sample to accommodate our menu selection. . As it turns out, the man was actually the manager and it was his job to take the orders while the young lady was making the orders. While I appreciate her effort in her friendliness, the manager seems to need a training from some of his employees to figure out the order of customer service. He was very consumed with his cell phone and jumped right back on the phone as soon as he finished pressing in the order of the keypad. Still not having washed his hands before or after handling food...

My sister called ahead to confirm the hours of operation before placing her order. She was assured they would be open at the time we planned to pick up her bowl. However, when we arrived, we saw an employee closing the store 14 minutes early. When my sister explained that she had called earlier and was told they would be open, the employee simply said, âThat wasnât me,â and told us we had to get a refund.
This was a complete waste of our time and gas. No one notified us of the early closure or canceled our order, which had already been paid for. A simple courtesy call would have saved us the trouble.
This is unacceptable customer service. Itâs clear that this establishment does not value its customers. We made an effort to support a local business, but after this experience, we wonât be returning or recommending...
