Deb's Sandwich Shop — Restaurant in South Portland

My yearning for philly cheesesteak initially brought me here. I love going in here and seeing the same 3 people every time, and these guys (ladies, really) are hilarious. I used to try to order a different thing every time, but now that I’ve discovered the delicious bacon cheeseburger they offer i can barely bring myself to buy anything else. Ive eaten a lot of burgers in my life, and it’s been a long, long time since I’ve eaten one that made me not only physically fuller, but emotionally too. Something about this burger satisfies me in a way that goes deeper than taste. I also remember being extremely satisfied by the chicken bacon ranch wrap they offer, which I really would love to order again if i can fall out of love a little bit with the bacon cheeseburger 😅 I’m happy to have this little shop so...

I think the prices are very reasonable compared to others in the area. We ordered two subs, one veggie and one steak. The steak was great! We recieved tuna or chicken by mistake (I'm not sure what it was) so I called and the staff was great in offering a solution. Owner refunded/gave future credit for the sandwhich that was unable to be ate.
