The last time I went here was Iād guess about a year ago, and has a bit of a story.
We came in maybe thirty minutes before close, there were two employees working, and just a man and his I believe two daughters ordering in front of us. The three orders took twenty minutes to make, which blew me away. One of the two people working said they only had I think Italian bread left, and she canāt make anymore. Sure, thatās understandable. So far, I canāt blame them besides the time it took to make a sub. Then, with ten minutes left, the person I think is the boss tells the new guy to lock the door, theyāre out of bread essentially. The guy goes and locks the door, and then someone came to try and get food. Staring down the subway employees, a man calls and starts getting vitriolic on the phone, the lady makes the new guy open the door, who then insults the employee. That was bad, but it gets worse. The employee makes the wrong decision to say heās trying to get out of here on time, to which the new possible customer says some curses and negative things. More banter occurs, and itās decided between the two that theyāre going to fight outside once the employee was done with work. The understandably probably not in the right mindset employee starts making a sandwich for someone, and realizes he needs to wash his hands. Itās a quick two second dip, and then itās hands on the sammy. At this point my wife and I realize itās time to go, and dip out. One more observation I noticed though, was the customer threatening the employee STAYED IN LINE, expecting the guy to make a sandwich for him, which I found pretty funny. As we left, the employee mumbled heās not making this guy a **ing sandwich. I hope they didnāt fight, but geez what a mess.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreThere was only one guy working tonight. One. He wasn't entirely sure how to make my sandwich, though he absolutely knew where to find the tools/instructions/recipe book and did a pretty good job. The place was clean, but I could tell he had a lot on his plate for closing duties and I felt for him. And I'm kinda worried, actually. Like, only one employee for the last 4-5 hours? Number 1: That's a safety concern. Bad guys like to target understaffed places. Number 2: That's taking the employee for granted, and in the process making them feel devalued. Number 3: When the only person working has to use the restroom, do they lock the doors or leave the place unattended? Number 4: This is how you burn out good employees. I hope you don't lose the guy who was working tonight. I hope management...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSubway is one of my favorite restaurants, but Iāve never once received a sub from this location that was what I ordered. Iāll pay the extra money for guacamole, but the guac will be absent. Sometimes I get an entirely different sandwich altogether. If youāre going to eat here, make sure you donāt order ahead like I do, or else youāll be left with something you didnāt want. Also, and this isnāt just a statement about this particular location, but Subwayās prices are ridiculous now. Charging $12-$17 dollars a sandwich is not sustainable and sandwich lovers like me are starting to go to...
