Burnt Out BBQ — Restaurant in South Salt Lake

Love the chef's origins and had high hopes. However, after ordering at TF Brewing recently, we were disappointed. The $16 hamburger was tiny and a single patty with no side. The brisket tacos were tiny too, nothing like what the pictures here show. It came with slaw that was devoid of any flavor. The neighboring table had sandwiches that looked good though.

I always want to support local but when you're relatively small people and had to go get a real dinner...

Happened upon this on my way home from a random errand, and so glad I did!

Service was impeccable. The whole deal took around 5 minutes, and the food (shared a brisket quesadilla and pork tacos) was shockingly good. Proportions on these were perfect; or if anything - more than expected.

Where's the beef!! I got the burger and I had more bun than burger. I could have slid the burger under the door. The burger did have amazing flavor though. I was told that it had sauteed onions and there was no onions. There are no other toppings that come along...
