Boost Mobile — Local services in South Salt Lake

This store is a complete scam. I went in for the in-store promo for the iPhone 16e at $49.99 when bringing over a number. I wanted three lines. The rep told me it would be $350 per phone and claimed that covered the phone, service, activation, and even a phone case. When I asked to remove the case, he said it was “free” but still couldn’t be taken off — which makes zero sense.

When I asked for a breakdown (since the promo clearly states $50 for the phone and $60 for service), he just kept repeating “the phone is $350.” When I pressed him, he got loud and rude, saying all the promos in the window were “online only.” That’s flat-out false because online the phone is $99.99, while in-store it’s advertised at $49.99.

The math doesn’t add up. It’s just hidden upcharges and shady sales tactics. Extremely misleading and unprofessional. Avoid...

Brought an iphone 5 in working conditions and an iphone 7 that I wanted to upgrade to.

I was paying $30 with virgin with great coverage now paying $35 for “ no service “ or “roaming” at work.
