So Utah has a 5% beer ABV rule from the tap but you can put whatever in a can. This brewery, basically did not have anything of their brewery on tap. We were told all the taps are guest taps but their stuff comes from the can. That's cool and it's goofy at the same time meaning you can get higher ABV booze but it's coming out of a can which you're likely getting charged more for and have no idea when it was actually canned. Hmmm. Tender was cool and fast. Merch was okay. I just don't love the idea of going to a brewery and drinking their stuff from a can and paying more. In CA, if you're pouring from a can it never costs more than from the tap, which makes absolute perfect sense. I can't give positive reviews for businesses hustling customers.
Note to owner reply: So is your establishment a brewery or a bar because last time I checked, you have brewery in the name and we want beer from the tap not from a 3 month old can. Utah is funny. They hate all criticism. Agree to disagree instead of trying to throw digs at negative reviews. It makes you look as incompetent as the comments you make. Yeah i know the Utah beer rules. DM me for clarification on any truth you refuse to absorb. As for the canned beer from YOUR "brewery"? Isn't that great to clarify. I was trying to be neutral until the owner comments but... it's over hyped. May be great by owner standards ans cult following, but if you drink craft beer all over the country this place is a joke of a...

Their beer selection is top-notch, with a wide variety of classic and innovative flavors that cater to all tastes. I especially enjoyed their IPA and their Pale Ale, as well as their unique, creative seasonal brews. Each beer was expertly crafted and delivered a flavorful punch that kept us coming back for more.
The taproom's ambiance is what really sets SaltFire Brewing Co. apart from other breweries in the area. The large and open area is perfect for a group of friends, with comfortable seating and plenty of space to relax and enjoy a cold one. Β Β Β Read moreI have been going to SaltFire since their opening day and I have always been very impressed with the quality and consistency of their brews. They are amongst the top breweries in Utah (TF and 2Row) and in my opinion, have the best sour program in the state. Shades claims they are the sour brewery for Utah, but if you are after mixed fermentation sours and not lactose bombs, SaltFire is for you. The quality of their beer deserves 5 stars, but that isn't what impressed me most about this brewery. Several months back they made a post about slicing apricots for an upcoming sour and I called them asking for some of the pits for my own homebrew sours. Not only did they happily offer to save me some, when I arrived the box was loaded with pits and even several fresh whole apricots. This was beyond impressive, and they won over a lifelong customer. In addition, some of my favorite homebrew sours have been fermented with cultures from their Mobius Trip...
