AUGUST 7, 2022 UPDATE: These folks are still the best!!!!! We have a large family so our orders are always big....Today a burrito was forgotten out of our drive thru order... First time ever... Anyway, they had already had it ready to go when i got back to get it AND gave us a complimentary flan as well. Thank you Rancheritos!!!!❤ 🙏 i also gotta say--- once in awhile (not always) the person taking the order has a hard time understanding me because Spanish is their first language. However-- they ALWAYS get my order CORRECT. Meanwhile-- people at other fast food drive thrus speak english perfectly and yet STILL get my order wrong. I've never had this issue at Rancheritos.... that really says something about the employees and their staff if you think about it!! They are a really great place with a fantastic staff!! Thanks again guys!!!❤❤🙌🙌
I always love their #2-- the 2 beef tacos. it is one of my favorites. they also will rectify the order if it's missing any items. As a bigger family... we've had this happen a couple times here but not as often as other restaurants, so that's good. And the lady who works in drive thru is very nice! She looks to be an Anglo woman... she gets our order right and we never have any problems. She also makes sure to make things right if we're missing anything. Good food at a decent price. Our sons love the burritos here and so...
Read moreRancherito's is to Salt Lake staple something like Waffle House is to cities below the Mason-Dixon Line. It's not popular because it's the best Mexican food you can get in town. It's popular because it's pretty good food, it's very affordable, they give you huge portions (you can easily feed two people with most of their plates and entrees), they're very consistent and predictable, and they're open all day at many locations.
Rancherito's makes a great place to grab lunch and if you're a night owl they make a delicious plate of Carne Asada fries that hits the spot after a night out.
They have a drive-thru and an indoor casual diner type atmosphere so if you want to impress a client or visiting family, there are certainly nicer places to sit down for Mexican cuisine. But all around Rancherito's is usually a crowd pleaser and has something that everyone in my family including two picky teenagers can enjoy for lunch or dinner.
P.S. don't get the enchiladas unless you like a sweet enchilada sauce. I love the carnitas or fish tacos or carne asada fries. And you can't go wrong with a giant burrito stuffed with your...
Read moreI already knew the customer service sucked, but the snotty pink haired employee definitely confirmed it for me today. I get up to the drive thru window and ask if they do half orders of their supreme nachos. They told me no, so I just ordered one regular order. They confirmed it. The girl said, “One supreme nacho?” “Yes.” “That’ll be 10.48 at the window.” I get up to the window and the girl tries giving me two surpreme nachos. “Uhhh... no. I ordered one supreme nacho.” With a snotty attitude, “Then we did you say yes when I confirmed two?” “Uhhh... Because that’s not what I heard.” She gave me a dirty look that belonged on a teenager’s face. She stood there waiting for me to say something. I’m assuming she was waiting for me to offer to pay for both of them. “I’m only paying for one. I only ordered one.” And I handed her my card. She continued her immature expression and unprofessionalism. Didn’t say a word, just gave me my card back and silently, madly, handed me my correct order. Thanks for the unnecessary attitude. Really makes me (not) want...
