Taqueria La Morena — Restaurant in South San Francisco

Don't use the online ordering site from menustar, the restaurant will not get your order. You will just be giving a shady website your payment information and waste your time. Further, the prices listed there aren't accurate.

Now that part is over, the woman who took my order the second time was really great. She was super nice and explained the above, took my order and the rest of the staff had my order out in a hurry. The food was really good and I recommend this fantastic restaurant to anyone craving Mexican food and is in the area. Aside from the website, the only other issue is parking, but that applies to all of San Franciso and is not limited to this spot. Try this place, it's fantastic and I'd go back for sure!

I had inquired about a catering order on their website. They emailed me with the order, I did not confirm this order with them. I decided to go somewhere else. I was called the day of our meeting with someone asking me for a credit card. I never confirmed the order with them but was treated like I had. The person on the phone was doing his best to make this my fault, that they conduct their business on the honor system and that was enough for them to think this order had been placed. I have never been treated like this by a caterer, he told me that this wasted food was also my fault, went on talk about the business climate etc. I was completely offended by how this person spoke to me. The best Carne Asada super burrito I've ever had and I've had a lot of them from all over the place. My buddy and I stopped in here on the way home from SFO after a long return trip from Hawaii. We were tired, hungry and strung out. We ordered our burritos and the gentleman who prepared our food made us some "old school big boy burritos" and mentioned that he would be surprised to see us finish them in one sitting.
